This keto strawberry chocolate cheesecake bark recipe is a healthy way to enjoy cheesecake and a low-carb alternative to ice cream. What goes together better than strawberries and chocolate?
Cheesecake Bark Recipe
I’m sure you’ve heard about chocolate bark desserts – the snacks that look like chocolate bars with different ingredients mixed into them. This is kind of the same idea, except you freeze them. It’s made with an entire box of cream cheese, so it really does taste like cheesecake!
Ok, frozen cheesecake, but it’s really creamy and perfect if you have a sweet tooth.
There are lots of healthy ingredients packed into this bark! Strawberries are high in antioxidants and vitamin C. The walnuts have enough healthy fats to keep you in fat-burning mode and plenty of protein. Of course, cream cheese is also another source of healthy fats and protein too.
Finally, Greek yogurt is packed with even more protein and lots of calcium.
Sugar-Free Strawberry Dessert
Pretty much any dessert that is made up of mostly cream cheese will taste like a cheesecake! Do you enjoy strawberry cheesecake? If you do, you’ll love this. It’s also a really fantastic alternative to ice cream.
When your kids see you eating it, they are going to want some too. They won’t be able to tell that there isn’t any sugar in it.
I love making cheesecake-inspired low-carb desserts. One of my favorites is my keto mug cheesecake. It’s the perfect single-serving dessert (and helps me with portion control).
I also make my Instant Pot low-carb chocolate cheesecake a lot too, especially when I’m craving chocolate.
Keto Dessert Ideas No Bake
This recipe requires no baking at all! Just mix it up and put in the freezer and you are done. There are lots of ways you can customize it too.
If you or your kiddos are allergic to walnuts, leave them out. They are optional. Or, if you don’t have any nut allergies, use pecans instead of walnuts.
Leaving the strawberries out will minimize the amount of carbs in the dessert too. They don’t increase the amount of carbs too much since you only use 1/4 of a cup in the entire batch.
Easy No Bake Dessert
This dessert works well for snacking. When you have a craving for some cookies or ice cream, grab a slice of this cheesecake bark instead! I also enjoy eating it as a dessert after a particularly savory meal.
You can also serve it at special occasions (like birthday parties or cookouts) as a keto treat. I love having something at parties that I can eat guilt-free, don’t you? This is a very impressive dessert that is ready in no time!
