This keto tomato cream sauce pasta with mushrooms tastes like your favorite family pasta dinner but without all the carbs. There are only 6 net carbs in each serving!
Everyone loves the cream sauce in the feta burger recipe. I decided to use it to make an easy skillet dinner. This recipe doesn’t use zoodles, it uses low-carb noodles that taste and feel like wheat pasta. The entire recipe tastes comforting and familiar, just like dinner should be.
Best Keto Cream Sauce
If you have ever tasted a thick, creamy, zesty tomato sauce and wished it was low-carb, then this sauce is for you! It’s bursting with Italian herbs and spices. The aromas that will fill your kitchen will remind you of your favorite childhood meals.
It’s amazing how the heavy whipping cream and beef broth combine to create a zesty sauce that you can use in other recipes too. This is the perfect sauce for dipping keto breadsticks into.
Keto Mushrooms With Cream Sauce
Did you know that mushrooms are super healthy for you? They are packed with vitamin D and protein. Lots of vegans enjoy mushrooms as part of their regular diet for this reason. Plus, the fiber is amazing for your gut health too.
Even if you are on the fence about whether you like mushrooms or not, put them in this sauce. Believe me, they elevate the taste of this sauce.
Easy Keto Dinner
When you don’t have much time for dinner, use this recipe. The noodles are precooked, so all you really have to do is heat everything together on the skillet! This is even easier than traditional spaghetti.
Use this recipe if you are trying to eat something meatless for dinner. It’s incredibly filling and healthy for you.
15-Minute Keto Dinner Variations
I kept this recipe simple with just mushrooms and spinach. You can add chicken, beef, shrimp, or even ground turkey! The possibilities are endless. Just add your favorite protein and it’s an entire dinner in one skillet.
You can also swap spinach for kale and add some peas too.
Sometimes I like to add some chopped zucchini to my pasta dishes for a little extra nutrition.
What To Serve With It
This is basically an entire meal so you don’t need to serve anything extra with it. I think this keto tomato cream sauce pairs really well with either some keto garlic knots or a keto cheesy garlic bread.
I also think a fresh chopped salad is perfect with it too.
