Whipped Topping Alternative
If you are watching your carbs, do not buy frozen whipped topping. It’s so much healthier to just take some heavy whipping cream and use an electric hand mixer to whip it until stiff peaks form. That’s it! It’s sugar-free and full of healthy fats.
How To Prep Eggnog Cheesecake Bars
These are really easy to prep and make ahead of time. Just add a tightly-sealed lid (or wrap the container in aluminum foil) and store it in the freezer. They will last about 3 months in the freezer. Then, when you are ready to enjoy your desserts, let them that in the refrigerator overnight.
If you want to store them in the refrigerator, they will only last about 3-5 days. The texture of the crust will eventually soften to where they aren’t as enjoyable, so I suggest you eat them when they are fresh.
Optional Toppings
These bars taste amazing just as-is, but if you want to make them even more festive, consider using these low-carb toppings:
- Unsweetened coconut flakes
- Mix in lilys chocolate chips
- Caramel drizzle
