These crispy cauliflower wings are a low-carb and gluten-free appetizer perfect for parties, snacks, or a fun and spicy lunch!
With this recipe, you won’t have to worry about how to make something for parties that you can eat. These little cauliflower wings are so delicious that you might have the opposite problem – everyone will eat them up before you have a chance to enjoy them!
Baked Cauliflower Wings
Do not forget to pin this recipe! I’m saying it early because you are going to love these spicy cauliflower wings that much.
They are perfect for snacking, as a game-day appetizer, or even as a side dish with something like keto burgers.
I made these in the oven and they came out perfectly crispy. If you have an air fryer, the instructions are very similar. Air fry the cauliflower wings at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes.
Take the air fryer tray out once or twice during baking to shake the wings so they cook evenly. They will come out just as crispy this way too.
Cauliflower Wings With Almond Flour
When you bread the cauliflower florets with almond flour, it gives them a nice crunchy exterior as they bake. Another option is to use pork rinds, but they don’t have as much protein, so they aren’t as healthy of a choice as the almond flour.
Fresh cauliflower is always the better choice, but I also understand what a mess cauliflower makes as you try to chop it. If you are a busy mom, you probably don’t have time for all that.
You can use frozen cauliflower too. If you use frozen cauliflower, let it thaw completely first (I leave the bag in the refrigerator overnight).
Then, use a paper towel or tea cloth to remove as much moisture as you can from the cauliflower before you bread and season it.
You can also make your own ranch seasoning – but you will need dry buttermilk powder first. This recipe from the Pioneer Woman is my favorite! It’s perfectly ket0-friendly and almost tastes better than the packets you can get from the store.
One Of The Best Low Carb Cauliflower Recipes
When you are feeling snacky like you want to grab a bag of potato chips, snack on these spicy cauliflower wings instead. After you bake them, store them in a resealable container (a freezer bag will do) and keep them in the refrigerator.
They will stay fresh for up to a week.
I think they taste pretty delicious chilled, but you can also pop them in the oven for a few minutes to reheat them. If you microwave them, they will turn a little softer, so I don’t suggest reheating them that way.
Best Cauliflower Wings Recipe
There are lots of ways that you can serve them. Chop up some celery on the side (just like at your favorite wings place). You can also serve them with some garlic butter cauliflower rice or garlic butter cauliflower mash for a complete dinner.
Take this recipe the extra mile by sprinkling fresh bleu cheese on top or adding some bacon and ranch dressing on top of these wings. Now they are party-ready!
