~ DIY Chalkboard Frame Gum Holder ~
Working from home has a lot of perks but often times it can be hard to find some quiet time to focus on the task at hand. Especially when you’ve got three teenagers, a preteen, a toddler, and a baby on the way. There’s many times where I have to shut my door, throw on some head phones, and try to tune out the business of my home that I love. The balancing act is definitely not easy, but along the way I’ve learned that theres many ways to stay connected and for me, that’s always having some type of candy or gum at my desk. I know it sounds silly but if my kids know that I have a stash, they walk in there looking for it, and that usally turns into a conversation on how school went among any other exciting things they have going on.
With five kids I have to constantly running out and have to be refilling my candy/gum dish so I was excited see the new Extra® Gum 35-stick packages (my favorite is Extra® Gum Spearmint but the boys love Extra® Gum Polar Ice® so I buy both) because it has more gum and there’s enough for everyone to take one and even save a piece for later in their backpacks or in my purse. I love that the 35-stick pack of Extra® (easily found at the checkout line at CVS) packaging is made of durable and recycled packaging making it perfect for my frame gum holder DIY (see instructions below). It’s often times the simple things like a piece of gum that can bring people together. Give Extra, Get Extra!
