I’m that person that is ready to decorate for the holidays the day after Halloween! I’m counting down the days until Christmas before my kids even take off their costumes. I try to incorporate as many decorations (click here to download a free printable wall art perfect for decorating) as I possibly can (minus the tree, we wait until after Thanksgiving) and I prep the house by deep cleaning a few times before the big day. I focus on rooms that guests will be in, like the bathroom. Keeping things neat and maintaining the bathroom during the holidays can be a full time job, so I try to make it really pretty (see my DIY Christmas Ornament Shower curtain below) and use products like Scotch-Brite® Disposable Toilet Scrubber and Scotch-Brite® Disposable Toilet Scrubber Refills that I buy at Target, to make cleaning a lot easier and sometimes even fun!
I know I say this all the time, but I think this DIY is a favorite! This DIY christmas ornament shower curtain can easily be changed with different affordable ornaments and can be done in every bathroom. It even blends in with bathrooms that already have themes for them. For this one, I decided to redo the guest bathroom and I added ornaments, ribbon and garland to the shower curtains. I even went and added some matching ornaments and ribbons to the counters with sparkly lights. It’s such an easy, festive touch that’s super easy to recreate!
This DIY christmas ornament shower curtain, mixed with the likes of Scotch-Brite® Disposable Toilet Scrubber (look out for the Instant Redeemable Coupon on each product that says Try Me Now! Save $2) and Scotch-Brite® Disposable Toilet Scrubber Refills will ensure that our guest bathrooms will be holiday ready! These products not only reach messes under the rim that competing products miss, but also has a built-in bleach alternative cleaner with pumice that scrubs away rust and hard water stains.
DIY Christmas Ornament Shower Curtain
What you’ll need:
Two panel curtains **I use panel curtain (38×84 each) instead of regular shower curtains to give the bathroom a higher ceiling look. Simply raise your shower curtain pole and hang your two panels. Place a second pole at your showers height and add your plastic shower curtain liner.
4 ornaments
Wired ribbon **I bought 4 9 foot rolls.
Ornament hooks
Garland
4 bows
Scissors
How To:
Tie your bow to the ornament.
Cut your ribbon into your desired length. **I just cut one large ribbon roll in half and use one strip for each ornament. Poke ornament hook through ribbon and attached to the back of the ornament.
Add your hooks to ornaments and hang off your shower curtain hooks or in my case grommets and adjust your ribbon.
Isn’t it cute!? The options are endless! You can add bigger bows and skip the ornaments, add multiple types of ribbon or hang sparkly stars and curling ribbon.

This is an excellent post. I love the Christmas package. It’s so cute.
Thanks for sharing the great post.
These are so super cute! I wish our main guest bathroom had a shower so I could do this! Absolutely love it!
What a great idea! I always add my holiday towels to the bathroom but had never thought of adding any other decorative touches. A Christmas ornament shower curtain seems easy enough to do and would add even more holiday cheer.
I just love what you did to the shower curtain…so pretty and festive! #client
Cute idea to easily get into the holiday spirit. It is fun to decorate the entire house.
What an adorable idea! I’ve never seen anything like it but I love it. Perfect and festive for holiday guests.
Such a fun and easy idea. The bathroom often gets overlooked here for holiday decorating. That will not be true this year!
Very cute idea! We don’t decorate the bathroom too much since there are so many of us but hopefully soon we will be in a house we can decorate more!
Not sure which i am more excited about how easy it is to clean the bathroom or those cute Christmas ornments. Ok I love both. Very festive.
