~ Easy DIY Pen Holder for FriXion Erasable Pens ~
The older my boys get, the busier their schedule gets. They have their after school activities, sports, playdates, and even part-time jobs with my older ones. I watch them and I wonder how they actually do it all because I don’t remember being that busy at their age. What I do know is that they must of being paying attention when I taught them to always make a list when things get too busy. Believe it or not, as tech savvy as they are, I always find their to do list and it makes me proud.
Once a week my boys make a schedule for the week to help ease the stress of trying to remember everything. When things get hectic or schedules change, we depend on a planner and FriXion Erasable Pens that we found at Target. The three pack of eraseable gel pens come in three colors red, black and blue, which makes it even easier for them to stay organized by color coding their list with red being the most important, to blue being for fun. They love the convenience of the FriXion erasable pens so much that they’re now a favorite for all of their school work too. Robert was especially excited because he’s still at an age where he depends on erasers a lot and he’s been limited to pencils. I’d even go as far to say that these pens have made homework time a little less stressful for both him and I.
FriXion Eraseable Pens are now a household favorite for many reasons, one of them being their initiative to stop bullying called STOMP Out Bullying. Pilot has partners with the national bullying and cyber bullying prevention organization to build up awareness and help fund educational programs meant to reduce and prevent bullying in schools across the country. Now that is a major win-win for me!
In an effort to help my kids stay even more organized and keep their new pens handy, I decided to make them a super easy DIY catch all for their desk using cans. **Bonus – I no longer have them asking me to help them find a pen! Below are the step by step by step instructions.
You’ll Need:
2 empty cans
Matte Black Spray Paint
Glue
1 foam board
Box cutter
ruler
How To:
Remove labels off the cans
Place can on edge of foam board and using a ruler draw straight line around them. ***Leave about a inch between the can and ruler.
Cut foam board
Spray paint cans and foam board. Allow to dry for one hour.
Glue cans onto foam board.
Allow to dry and you’re done!
How do you help your kids erase stress and stay organized?

I seriously need to try these pens. I am a big To Do List person, but I always end up using a marker board so that items will erase easily. Now I can use a planner and erase with the FriXion pens as I complete each item! #client
