I never thought I’d be making my own bread! Truth be told, giving up bread was the hardest part of going low carb! Making this low carb bread is so easy to make that I bake a loaf or two once a week. Each slice has only 2 net carbs so feel free to have more than one slice!
I’ve made tons of keto bread recipes and some can have a very eggy taste and tend to fall apart very easily. It took me some time to perfect this low keto bread recipe with almond flour, and this recipe doesn’t have that eggy taste at all!

Tip: Make sure eggs are room temperature. This is the key to eliminating that eggy taste. If you don’t have room temperature eggs you can place eggs in warm water for 5-10 minutes.

Store low carb bread in the refrigerator In an airtight container for 1 week. You can also freeze the bread for a few months.
Ingredients in keto bread recipes
2 cups of almond flour
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp of sea salt
7 tbsp of grass-fed butter
6 eggs at room temperature *You’ll be using 5 egg yolks and egg whites from all 6 eggs.
How To Make keto bread
Preheat oven to 375F
Grease pan with 1 tbsp of butter (I used this one).
Melt remaining butter.
In a bowl add almond flour, baking powder, salt, and 5 egg yolks.
Pour melted butter into bowl and mix.
Combine egg whites from all 6 eggs and cream of tartar.
Beat egg whites on high for 1-2minutes.
Add egg whites to almond flour mixture and beat until combined.
Pour mixture into pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
