Keto Bagel Bites
Whether you eat them for a quick lunch or you munch on them as a snack or serve them as a party food, these keto bagel bites are perfect any time!
I used my favorite fathead dough in these bagel bites. It’s my go-to combination of mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, and almond flour (and a few more baking ingredients). I use the same dough to make my keto rosemary dinner rolls and low-carb pumpkin pretzel bites. It’s so versatile, there are tons of different things you can make with it.
Easy Keto Lunch
These bagel bites are high in healthy fats and protein – two very important things for your keto diet. There are 4 grams net carbs in each bagel bite, so I suggest serving it with your favorite chopped salad or a handful of raw veggies and keto dip.
If you are rushing out the door, you can grab a handful of bagel bites and your favorite keto shake or smoothie to go along with it. These will also taste really good with a keto trail mix too. It’s a portable and easy lunch that will fill you up!
Keto Bagel Recipe
There are lots of ways you can customize these bagel bites too. The recipe I shared is a simple (and delicious) recipe that is really easy to change up.
I topped the bagel bites with Everything Bagel Seasoning. You could sprinkle onion powder on the outside, sprinkle sea salt, or make them sweet instead with cinnamon and sugar-substitute coating.
I’ve also enjoyed rolling the uncooked bagel bites in shredded parmesan cheese. It gives them a delightful taste and crispy exterior.
Keto Bagels Recipe Almond Flour
For the filling, I just used cream cheese and chopped green onions. There are so many other things you can use in place of the cream cheese.
Fill it with some spicy jalapeno or poblano peppers. Or, add your favorite type of shredded cheese. These bagels would also taste amazing with some chopped dill pickles inside!
Cream Cheese Bagel Recipe
I made these little bagel bites on a baking sheet, but it is just as easy to place the bagel dough in a muffin tin. They might come out shaped like muffins, but they will taste just as good!
They taste the best when they are hot and fresh out of the oven, but you can store them in the refrigerator and heat them up later in the week too. Store them in an airtight food storage bag or container and keep them in the fridge for up to a week.
These bagel bites are freezer-friendly too! To freeze them, bake them and let them cool completely. Then, place them in a single layer on a baking sheet and put the baking sheet in the freezer.
Once they are all frozen, put the bagel bites in a resealable freezer-safe food storage bag. They will stay fresh in the freezer for up to 6 months.
