Save yourself even more time and use frozen onion and pepper blend. Just sautee it all together and dinner is ready in no time at all!
Cajun Skillet Recipe
Cajun recipes come from Louisiana originally. Think of jambalaya or gumbo! Oh yum! The spices that make something taste like Cajun are a combination of things including paprika and cayenne pepper (both bright red spices).
To save yourself time, just buy the Cajun-style sausage and a jar of Cajun seasoning.
If you want to make your own Cajun seasoning, this recipe is my favorite. It uses garlic powder, oregano, onion powder, and some cayenne and paprika for an unmistakable flavor!

How To Store Keto Cajun Cauliflower Rice
This recipe can’t be frozen, it tastes the best when it’s fresh off the stove.
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Eat it within 3 days.
I suggest reheating it on the stove, but you can use the microwave too. The stove will help the cauliflower rice have a better texture than the microwave will.
What Is Cajun Sausage
Another name for Cajun sausage is Andouille sausage. This is smoked meat made with pepper, onions, and seasoning.
Johnsonville sells Andouille sausage at Walmart.
If you are having a tough time finding it at a grocery store near you, Amazon sells Duke’s Cajun Andouille Pork sausage too. It’s worth it! It is packed with more flavor than other sausages.
What To Serve With Cajun Keto Rice
The sausage and rice together make this an entire meal in one pan. If you want to serve something else with it, consider something with a little less flavor. This dish should have center stage!
This would taste amazing with some keto garlic knots on the side. If you want more veggies, add a side of parmesan green beans and peppers. They have a perfectly mild flavor that pairs well with the Cajun seasoning.

Instructions:
In a large pan, sauté the bell peppers and diced onion in olive oil until they begin to soften.
Add in the sliced sausage and continue to cook for a few minutes or until the sausage starts to brown.
Add in the frozen cauliflower rice and cajun seasoning; mix well and cook until the cauliflower rice is warm and heated all the way through.
