This is by far the creamiest, most filling chicken casserole I have ever made. It’s packed with dairy – both cream cheese and sour cream. Mix this all together with some salty ranch dressing mix and top with crispy bacon and you have a meal your kids will ask for again!
The Best Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole
I don’t use this term lightly! Everything about this recipe is perfect. You won’t have to modify it at all. In fact, there are a few ways that you can add some veggies to the casserole and you’ll have an entire meal in one easy dish. I’m all about easy clean-up!
Keto Family Casserole
When you are doing your family meal planning, I bet you do what I do. You look for dinners that you and your family can both eat. Even having to modify their dinner to fit your low-carb diet can be time-consuming. This is one of my favorite keto chicken casserole recipes of all time because my husband and kids all love it too!
There is virtually no prep at all for it. If you make the chicken breast and bacon ahead of time, you just have to mix everything together and put it in the oven. So easy!
Hearty Keto Dinner
This tastes wonderful with a side of steamed broccoli or even a side of garlic butter mushrooms. If you want to save yourself time preparing a veggie or salad as a side dish, add some chopped cauliflower or broccoli and let it all bake together. This cheesy mixture tastes divine on them too.
What I Love About Chicken Bacon Ranch
My favorite thing of all is how much my family loves it! They eat it up and don’t even miss the carbs. I also love that this is a budget-friendly meal. You might already have all of these ingredients in your fridge. Save yourself time and just grab a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store. Cheap and easy!
Casserole Prep Tip
Can you make this with raw chicken? Yes, you can chop up raw chicken breast and use that in the casserole. If you use raw chicken, it will have more liquid in it. I happen to like the liquid because it makes the casserole thinner. If you want to avoid the extra liquid, cook the chicken ahead of time. Cooked chicken will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Add Cauliflower Rice
Another popular idea that you can try is to throw in some cauliflower rice. When you do this, it turns into a chicken and rice casserole that’s wonderfully low-carb and just as filling.
