This is a very popular recipe to make for kids. Since you are using two different types of cheese, this asparagus has a very kid-friendly flavor! Plus, when you add garlic to it, you are giving it an unmistakable zesty taste that is unparalleled.

Use fresh garlic. Trust me, it has a much bolder flavor than garlic powder. If you don’t have time to chop up fresh garlic, at least use the jarred minced garlic. You won’t regret it.

When you need a quick keto side dish, use this recipe. It doesn’t take very much prep work at all, and it only takes 15 minutes to cook in the oven. Just place it on the sheet pan and let it cook while you prepare the rest of your dinner. 

How To Make Garlic Asparagus 

This is probably the easiest asparagus recipe you will ever find. All of the ingredients and step-by-step directions are in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post. 

  • Basically, drizzle the asparagus with olive oil. Then, add the garlic cloves and bake them. 
  • After about 15 minutes, top with the two different types of cheese, and put them back in the oven just long enough for the cheese to melt. That’s it! 
  • I added crumbled bacon on top. If you do this, you will love it! 

What to Serve With Asparagus

This is another great choice to use for your meal prep. The cheese might harden when you keep it in the refrigerator, but once you heat it up, it will melt again.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Place asparagus on a large baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
