Create a fun new way to bake pumpkin pie! Low-carb pumpkin pie tacos are fun to serve at parties, or a sweet breakfast treat.
Keto Pumpkin Pie
Every fall, pumpkin spice seems to take over coffee shops and bakeries. And for good reason! Pumpkin pie is served at Thanksgiving and one of the best desserts you can eat.
Since pumpkins ripen in the cool fall weather, they are used in all sorts of different desserts.
I took all the best things about keto pumpkin pie and created fun and tasty tacos! This recipe makes six tacos. This is enough for your entire family or to eat throughout the week in your meal prep.
Low-Carb Tacos
The most surprising thing about these low-carb dessert tacos is that there are just 2 grams net carbs in each one! They are so rich and filling that you probably won’t want to eat more than one.
The pumpkin pie tacos are so beautiful that you’ll be proud to serve them to guests at your fall or Halloween parties. But they are also good for you, too!
Eat them with your lunch or enjoy them as your breakfast. They have so much healthy fat and nutrients that they make a wonderful way to start your day.
Dessert Tacos
The best thing about these dessert tacos is that are made with hearty and rich ingredients. With a combination of cream cheese, swerve confectioner’s sugar, and pumpkin puree; the filling tastes just like a whipped pumpkin pie.
Every single bite is pure bliss. Honestly, the secret to the filling is the Swerve confectioner’s sugar substitute.
You can’t really use any other type of sweetener in its place. The confectioner’s sugar substitute makes the filling extra fluffy and incredible.
Pumpkin Pie Tacos
When you make pumpkin pie tacos, make sure you buy pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling. The pumpkin pie filling already has pumpkin pie spice and a lot of sugar in it.
In order to keep this low-carb, use pumpkin puree and spice and sweeten it yourself.
I fried them in a skillet, but it is just as easy to make them in the air fryer, too. To use the air fryer, preheat to 375F.
Then, place the tortillas in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Fry them just for about 5 minutes then take them out and fold them into the shape of a taco, just like you would if you fried them in a skillet.
Keto Desserts
These tacos are nutritious enough to eat for breakfast, and they show off wonderfully for brunch, too! Or you can serve them for dessert at a party. Guests will love it!
Add some keto-friendly ice cream on the side. It will taste delicious with the cream cheese filling in the tacos.
If you’re going to serve it at a party, then make some keto crispy cinnamon cream cheese roll ups. They actually taste very similar to these pumpkin pie tacos. Or you can just go ahead and make a keto cheesecake!
It’s so easy and tastes amazing with the keto pumpkin pie tacos.
