Low-Carb Mixed Drink
This time of year, there’s nothing I love more than to unwind with family and friends. Luckily, this recipe is low carb and sugar-free (containing LESS than 5g of carbs!) so I get to enjoy the classic flavors of a mojito without the guilt.
Alcohol On Keto Diet
Be careful when you drink alcohol on the keto diet. The reason most professionals advise against drinking on keto is that your body might be even more sensitive to alcohol. This is totally normal.
Eat plenty of healthy fats and protein, stay hydrated, and don’t overindulge, and you’ll be fine.

What To Serve With A Keto Mojito
This tastes amazing with anything with a beach or BBQ flair. Serve it with some low-carb appetizers like Crispy Fried Keto Shrimp or keto jalepeño chips.
For dinner, a mojito pairs well with these Keto Chicken Veggie Skewers or these Low Carb Fajita Bowls.
Is Alcohol Keto-Friendly?
If you have any dietary concerns, you’re not alone! I have also found it difficult to gauge what alcohol is keto-friendly. Let me give you a rundown.
Avoid Beer and Wine on Keto
Beer usually contains the most carbohydrates causing bloating, while wine is naturally high in sugar that you don’t need.
Cocktails Are Keto-Friendly
Cocktails make the BEST keto summer drinks. Commonly served hard liquors contain 0g net carbs, so a sugar-free mojito with vodka is perfect. I love that this allows me to bring out my inner mixologist and lose that restricted feeling on a diet.
Normally a bartender will mix high-calorie soda or juice to make a simple cocktail. You can make a much lighter cost-efficient version at home. Sparkling water and fresh fruit is a great way to achieve this, while also being refreshing and perfect for summer.
What’s In A Keto Mojito
There are only a few simple ingredients you need for this easy keto coconut mojito recipe. Boiling water, sweetener, and coconut flakes together create a simple syrup just like a professional would use. Add vodka, sparkling water, and lime and mint to garnish.
