With two daughters, we have a ton of accessories like headbands, hair clips, bows, and even a few hats. Many of them I’ve begun noticing are still sitting in our closet with tags attached and others just get used once. There are many that don’t match any their outfits and others that just won’t stay put. I decided to take all those accessories that go unused to make a pretty and easy to make DIY headband for spring.

This DIY headband takes maybe 10 minutes to make using only three items: felt (you can also use fabric but felt is stiffer and holds up much better), a plain headband, and any clip-on bow. It’s super easy to assemble and if you’re girls are older than mine, they can help make them!

Cut two 6×2 strips of felt and round out edges.

Olivia turns two next week and is a bundle of energy, so pictures of her are hard to come by. Luckily for me I got her to sit still (albeit sideways), smile and show off her pretty headband.
