This year was full of huge milestones! Dylan started high school, Robert started middle school, William announced he had the opportunity to graduate early and that he would be graduating in January, and we also went from a family of seven to eight when we brought home our first little girl! My entire world shifted the day I brought her home (click here to read all about her birth story). I still remember the day we strapped her into the same car seat in my truck that held Joseph when I took him home from the hospital as well, the truck has lots of good memories in it but it was time for us to begin finding our dream car + sweet surprise!

My truck has served me well. It’s allowed me to fit my growing family, give me the room I needed to carpool, head to play dates, and even carry all my bags when I have a rare mall day to myself. It is a very well worn car that has served us well throughout the years. Now that Olivia is about to transition into a bigger car seat, we’ll be utilizing that third row even more, especially now during the holidays. Finding Our Dream Car + A Sweet Surprise
Buying that truck was the best investment we have made. I give thanks to my husband for that because I’m the type who tends to shy away from change and I would have kept us as a one car family. Before we had the truck, he was the one who drove the car for work. The inconvenience of one car isn’t something that I would wish upon anyone. This truck was much needed for me, but it has also left a big void, because now my husband is left with the sedan that we have out grown.

It’s definitely time for an upgrade. One that will allow me to give my husband the truck back and find a car that also has a roomy third row for our ever growing family, because we’ll be welcoming another girl in April! Yep, after five boys, it looks like I’ll soon be a mom with two daughters now! I still can’t believe it, I never thought I’d even have one girl let alone two, so we’re gearing up and getting ready to strap in another car seat.

To help us with the financing process we plan on using Capital One’s Auto Navigator site, where you can search local car dealerships and their inventory for the model, make and price, the look up exactly what we’re looking for and whether or not we qualify for it. Congratulations on the baby girl to come! We have 5 kids here, 4 boys and 1 girl and people think I am busy! I’m glad you were able to find your dream car. Finding the right vehicle is hard enough for small families, let alone the bigger ones like ours!

I love the Capital One Auto Navigator Site. It’s so easy to use and it really streamlines the process of finding a new car. I really love that I don’t have to drive around to twenty dealerships to see what cars they have in stock. I can just check that one site and figure out the best deal for me. We are also due for an upgrade in the car department.
