I’m a total last minute shopper. It doesn’t matter if I have all the time in the world, I will always leave it to the last minute because I find that the thrill adds to the holiday excitement, but I always end up complaining how I can’t find the perfect gift. This year, however, is a little bit different, because I’m very pregnant, have deadlines to meet, and I have a very active toddler on my hands. At the top of my very organized gift list this year is my neighbor Susan. I don’t have many friends. I tend to be a little shy and keep to myself but Susan has alway gone out of her way to get to know my family and I. if I ever need a hand she’s always the first to offer even though she has her hands full with two toddlers. With my type of online job, friends like these are rare to find so I cherish her friendliness and companionship and I plan on surprising her with her favorite Beyonce heat. I remember the first day I met her I immediately noticed her scent. It wasn’t anything overpowering but just enough to leave a lasting impression that was powerful enough to remind me of her when I walked passed the Coty Fragrance Gift Sets display samples in Walgreens. I immediately knew it was the same scent I smelled on Susan when she comes over.
My plan is to wrap it up in some pretty wrapping paper and walk on over with the boys to hand her the gift.

Yes all but 3 – 4 gifts (for kids and hubby) are bought already. I started in July, thanks to blogging. Our older two kids’ bigger gift is what is last to get and our youngest’s bigger toy to get, and something nice for my husband.

I love receiving perfume as a gift. It’s something I rarely splurge on for myself. I haven’t started shopping yet. My kids have electronics on their lists this year.
