Today is Dylan’s 13th Birthday! The little boy who use to wake up and dance to Usher’s song Yeah. Dylan would wake up every day, turn the computer on and blast the video over and over again! He’s always been determined, competitive and curious about everything. I’ve signed him up for soccer (which he hated), basketball, acrobatic dance (which to my surprise he loved) but he finally settled on MMA and he’s just a natural at it. His Dad and I are SO proud of him. His old soul is something that I treasure and at times find a tad challenging but it’s what makes him Dylan and he’s amazing! I can probably list 100’s of things I love about him but my other boys would get so jealous if I did so I’ve only listed 10.
2. Loves to try new food
3. He refuses to rat out his older brothers. That’s Dylan’s way of showing his love and respect for them.
4. Dylan is very particular with things (just like me) and I love that he knows that I get him and his quirks. Whenever he wants things done “his way” he comes to me – love that!
5. He’s indpependent.
6. He’s SO SO smart. I’m not just saying this because he’s my kid either. Dylan doesnt even try and get’s almost a perfect score on all of his state wide tests, numerous times.
7. He’s mature but does not act like he knows it all
8. I love that he knows he’s strong and can probably kick any kids ass but he’s walked away from situations where he could have easily snapped.
9. His althletic abilities amaze me every day!
10. I love that he doesn’t take himself too serious.
