- Buy It – It’s Hard To Make A Difference When You Can’t Find Your Keys by Marilyn Paul
Up until last year, I’ve always hated anything that resembled a routine. I realize that they serve a purpose and I’ve always kept my kids on a strict routine; but when it comes to me I would wake up and do things when I wanted to, how I wanted to and just went with the days flow and it worked to a certain degree. Routines to me were boring but It was after I had Joseph that it started to fall apart. I remember the day we brought Joseph home after two days at the hospital and my house looked like a tornado hit it. I quickly tried to regain sanity but it was too much with a newborn. I could no longer just go with the flow – I desperately needed a routine and more importantly get organized. After a couple days of trying to get a hang of this new way of living I knew I needed a little motivation so I did what I always do I read about it. Growing up, my parents always taught me and my brother that when things get tough to get up and educate ourselves and not to just there and drown in fear or despair and it’s one of the best thing they could have taught me.
I loved it and would totally recommend this book! It’s an easy read with a huge impact, this is the book for all those of us who have tried many other methods only to eventually fall back into our old disorganized ways.
