~ Johnson & Johnson 7 Minute Wellness for Expecting and New Moms™ ~
Olivia will be 5 weeks old this week. Next week I head back in for my 6 week appointment. This won’t be like most of my other 6 week appointments,where I was told you’re good to work out and get back into your normal mode. I’m still healing slowly from my complicated C-section, but I am mentally preparing and looking forward to getting back into shape and feeling whole and healthy again. Being that I did just have my sixth kid, things can get a little hectic and on most days I walk around with bedhead until well past noon, so I’m also planning on arming myself with some help from a new app called Johnson & Johnson 7 Minute Wellness for Expecting and New Moms™ .
I need to be able to keep things running smooth and simple and this app does just that, by helping moms like me achieve and maintain wellness by customizing mind and body exercises and 7 minute workout sessions that are guided by performance coach Jenn Lea.
Between working full time from home, chasing after a toddler, and more recently caring for a newborn on top of that, there are days where I’m left drained and without the energy I need to truly enjoy my babies and get my work done. To cure this, Johnson & Johnson 7 Minute Wellness for Expecting and New Moms™ wellness app has helped me develop the skills that I need to not only manage, but also expand my energy during the important postnatal phase that I’m currently navigating, because a happy healthy mommy means a happy baby, and that’s something that very important to me.
You even have the option of choosing how you want to energize yourself with two different options: to pick from the 7 minute workout or the mind and body sessions (my favorite see above) that helps relieve discomfort and care for your body which has been perfect for me since I haven’t been able to do anything really strenuous.
It starts with suggestions on how to control your thoughts, which in return can control how you feel. Then there’s simple moves like the one below that you can do right in your chair that help relax your mind and body.
At the end of each workout, the app will ask how you feel and lets you then break down your routines according to your motivation.
What I liked most about the Johnson & Johnson 7 Minute Wellness for Expecting and New Moms™ is that everything revolves around your energy (something I struggle with) and how you feel according to where you are in your pregnancy or afterwards. This app focuses on the important stuff from inside and out. I use and it recommend it to any mom, current or expectant.
