Cheesecake Fluff
What do you eat when you’re craving something sweet, but you don’t want anything that will really fill you up? You just want to fulfill that sweet craving, but you’re not super hungry. When that happens, I reach for a keto cheesecake fluff.
There are a few different ways to make the dessert that we call cheesecake fluff.
This recipe uses sugar-free Jello mix, Greek yogurt, cream cheese, and heavy whipping cream. I wanted to make something that is higher in protein and healthy fats.
I also wanted to perfect that cherry flavor without using cherries. (They are not a keto-friendly fruit).
If you want something simpler (and easier) then make a 4-ingredient cheesecake fluff. It’s made with just cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, sweetener, and vanilla extract.
Keto Cheesecake Fluff
You could call this a keto cherry mousse, almost. It’s just as light and airy, but has more ingredients in it than a mousse. In my keto vanilla mousse, I mixed together some heavy whipping cream, xanthan gum, sweetener, and vanilla extract.
That’s why I called this a cheesecake fluff! It rolls onto your tongue with a delightfully smooth texture. And if you like the taste of cherries, you’ll love this fluff.
Cherry Cheesecake Fluff
Another thing I love about cherry cheesecake fluff is that you can make it ahead of time and store it in your refrigerator.
Since it’s a no-bake recipe, you can store it in your fridge and grab it when you want to eat something sweet. You can also serve it to your kids when they want a snack, or save it for an upcoming party.
This cherry cheesecake fluff will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Are Cherries Keto
No, cherries are not a keto-friendly type of fruit. In a 1-cup serving of cherries (with pits) there are 24 grams of total carbs.
This is why I used a box of sugar-free cherry Jello mix. It has all the flavors of cherries that I enjoy without the carbs. It makes this fluff taste just like cherry cheesecake, but each serving only has 4 grams net carbs.
Keto Dessert Ideas
Just because you’re on the keto diet doesn’t mean you have to deny your sweet tooth! There are a ton of low-carb desserts you can make. I have a bunch of recipes – use the search bar to find more!
Some of my favorite keto desserts also include keto strawberry cheesecake popsicles and keto granola bars. They are full of nutrients and are easy on your blood sugar.
If you love the combination of cinnamon and sugar together, make some keto churro fat bombs or low-carb churro chaffles. They are full of healthy fats and protein.
