Let me tell you, my entire world changed when I discovered mousse. It’s such a light dessert with the creamiest texture. When I discovered I could make a low-carb pumpkin mousse, I was in Heaven.

This is one of my favorite low-carb fall desserts. It is a quick and healthy snack. When I want something sweet, I can literally make a fresh batch in just a few minutes (less time than it takes to go through the drive-through).

It’s also a healthy dessert! It’s so full of protein and healthy fats that keep your body in fat-burning mode.

This is a fun pumpkin recipe that the kids can make themselves, too. I love having a few recipes around that the kids can make (with supervision, of course).

Keto Pumpkin Mousse Recipe

Since this is a no-bake recipe, it just takes some mixing and the recipe is ready. If you have a stand mixer, it’s even safer for small children to make.

Easy Keto Pumpkin Mousse

This recipe is perfect for the busy holidays. There are just a few steps. The most time-consuming step of all is whipping the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Everything else is a cinch! When you are running around trying to get everything done, this recipe is the last thing you’ll worry about.

You might enjoy this mousse without any toppings at all. If you want something on top or to mix into it, try any of these optional ideas:

  • Sugar-free chocolate chips

Make It Ahead

Save yourself even more time by making this ahead. This light dessert will stay fresh in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Keto Pumpkin Mousse Recipe

You can also freeze the mousse. If you do this, it comes out tasting like low-carb ice cream. Just store it in a sealed container in the freezer. It will stay fresh in the freezer for up to 4 months.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Can pumpkin puree
  • Pumpkin pie spice
  • Vanilla
  • Cream cheese
  • Heavy cream
  • Powdered sugar substitute
  • Lily’s chocolate chips or make you own with this easy sugar free recipe

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese and pumpkin puree.

Stir in vanilla, powdered sugar substitute and pumpkin pie spice.

In a separate bowl, mix heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Pumpkin Mousse

Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture.

Store in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

  • 15 ounces pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar substitute
  • 1/2 cup Lily's chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese and pumpkin puree.
  • Stir in vanilla, powdered sugar substitute and pumpkin pie spice.
  • In a separate bowl, mix heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture.
  • Store in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  • Serve with Lily’s chocolate chips.
