To say that I buy Olivia lots of clothes is a huge understatement! I don’t think there’s a trip to the store where I don’t buy her something like clothes, socks, shoes, toys and, my personal favorite thing to buy her, accessories. I’ve recently become a paci clip and headband addict (my favorite ones are from Loved By Sophia Claire) and if I see any little leggings with some sort of ruffle on the back (like the shorts seen below from Kohl’s Jumping Beans line), I immediately want to buy them. After five boys, can you blame me? Yeah, I didn’t think so!
A couple of days ago I made a stop at Kohl’s, which I haven’t done since Easter, and I immediately made a bee line to the kids department. Normally I’d be trying to find myself new shoes or something, but shopping for Olivia is way more fun! Now, I don’t know if it’s because I’ve never had a girl, or maybe I just didn’t notice before, but Kohl’s Jumping Bean line for kids is SUPER cute. They always have the amazing sales on them which perfect, because they even have bigger sizes and are perfect for back to school.
This is the time of year that I score a TON of clothes for us on the cheap because while everyone is out buying for the fall, we’re still wearing (and buying) summer clothes which, you guessed it, is on sale. Kohl’s had sales on both (you find everything I bought here ) summer and brand new fall items, so I bought a little bit of both!
I don’t always buy on sale items. I do splurge on some items, but Olivia’s still pretty tiny and only about 15-16 pounds (she’s a thin one) and nothing fits her the way it should, so I pick pieces that run smaller and are affordable so I won’t feel so bad when she grows out of it every month or so.
Her favorite doll and rattle. The doll was actually a gift that was given to me by Franklyn a couple of years ago. I love dolls and have tons of them for Olivia. The plush rattle I’m pretty sure came from Walmart.
Kohl’s Jumping Beans Tunic tank $3.99 and lace trimmed leggings $3.99!
These were both $3.99 as well! Look at those little bubble shorts , aren’t they the cutest!? I’ve always bought her the leggings with ruffles but never found them on shorts. I would have bought them in all sorts of colors but these were the only pair left. Might order some bigger sizes online! 🙂
These graphic onesies were 50% and only $6! Lots of styles to choose but these were my favorite!
Oh, and I almost forgot about the little deer mary jane shoes I bought her last week from Target’s Cat & Jack line! I saw them online and went running to find her size! Most of the stuff were sold out so I guess I was lucky to even find the shoes! SO cute and only $7.99. Most shoes are still too big on Olivia so I guess you can say it was meant to be that these cuties fit! 🙂
For those of you with little girls, where do you shop?
