This Labor Day weekend I celebrated Evan’s 18th birthday with his girlfriend, friends and family. It wasn’t a big party but it had all the people that have grown up with him and that’s what really counts. We made him homemade fried chicken, mashed potatoes and sweet corn with my mom’s famous macaroni salad and sweet sausages. I unfortunately did not get a chance to take too many pictures but I think the few we got were perfect!
I wanted the party to have a playful yet adult feel without going overboard on decoration so I got a TON of balloons in metallic silver, red and blue.

The rest of the decor (although you can’t see it) was all black and white and silver with his baby picture as a main focus.

Sierra (Evans girlfriend) finally met Joseph and I think Joseph was shocked to meet another girl (either that or he snuck in some dirty looks while we weren’t looking).

I’ve known Evans friends since they were in kindergarten and it so amazing to see how big they are.

Evan and I! Words cannot express how weird it feels to have him be 18 and I don’t even feel grown yet!

And then my favorite picture of the night – my oldest and my youngest. Love!
