This low carb chicken cobb salad trifle looks good enough to be the centerpiece at your next dinner. It’s super easy to make and low carb too.
What Is In A Chicken Cobb Salad
A typical cobb salad usually consists of some kind of lettuce, bacon, hard-boiled egg, tomato, chicken, and some kind of vinaigrette dressing. From that basic recipe, there are a ton of variations. One of the most popular fast-food chains, Chick-Fil-A, sells a chicken cobb salad.
I took this basic recipe and turned it into a beautiful show-stopping trifle! I think you are going to absolutely love how it tastes.
Low-Carb Trifle
All of the ingredients I used in this trifle are low in carbs and high in protein and nutrients. In the recipe card, I even share my low-carb dressing recipe.
The key to this salad is layering all of the ingredients in a trifle dish. To do this, I suggest preparing all of the ingredients ahead of time. Then, all you have to do is layer them and you are ready to go!
There are lots of ways to customize this salad too. Make it with shredded turkey breast. Or, skip the meat altogether and use crispy pieces of tofu.

Keto Cobb Salad
This chicken cobb salad trifle is perfect for parties. Everyone will be so impressed with how it looks that they won’t want to dig in. Since it is so easy to make, you will have more time to spend with your guests and less time in the kitchen.
I have a few tips for you that will save you even more time.
First, shred a pre-made rotisserie chicken instead of spending time cooking chicken breasts. It saves a ton of time (and energy).
Next, if you are going to serve this at a party, layer the trifle in individual glass cups. Then, guests will be able to carry it around and eat their salad without worrying about a mess.
If you are going to be eating this for dinner, then make low-carb oven-baked chicken thighs as the main course. It has flavors that won’t compete with the cobb salad.
More Low-Carb Party Foods
This keto cobb salad feeds a crowd – and looks good doing it. Serve it with other fancy and yummy salads too. My keto cauliflower potato salad is super-easy to make and tastes just like potato salad.
Dips are another popular party food, so make some keto creamed spinach with bacon. Or, add some spice to the party table and make some spicy egg salad. Finally, you can’t go wrong with low-carb jalapeno popper chicken salad. It’s creamy, spicy, and tastes like jalapeno poppers!
Keto-Friendly Cobb Salad Dressing
I just love the creamy salad dressing I made – you can’t even tell that it is low in carbs! Save this recipe even if it is just to keep the recipe close by.
I used a combination of mayo and sour cream – which gives it that zippy and tangy taste with the creamy texture. Then, I added a really tart taste with lemon juice.
Finally, the combination of spices that I used just can’t be beaten. I think the dill and chives really make it pop.
I used dairy milk in it – but if you are lactose intolerant you can use unsweetened plain almond milk as a replacement.
How To Store Trifle In A Fridge
Do whatever you can to serve this trifle as soon as possible. The longer it is stored in the fridge, the more chances the dressing will begin to soften the lettuce and change the crispy texture to a soggier one.
The best way to store trifle salad in the fridge (short-term) is in a dish that has a lid. They make trifle dishes with lids and they are so handy!
Honestly, I would just prepare all the ingredients and store them in separate containers. Then, right before dinner time, layer them all in the trifle dish.
How Long Does A Trifle Last In The Fridge
I would only keep a trifle salad in the refrigerator for no more than 3 days. After that time, the lettuce will become soggy.
