Rethink your family meal. This easy Thanksgiving sheet pan meal cooks the turkey breast and veggies in just 30 minutes.
Thanksgiving Sheet Pan
Whether you’re keeping things low key or you’re just not in the mood to carve an entire huge turkey, this is the perfect Thanksgiving recipe. It makes enough to feed at least six people (but probably more) and includes a beautiful variety of different roasted vegetables.
The really surprising thing is how quickly everything cooks. After only 30 minutes, dinner will be ready!
Keep reading and I’ll share some of my best cooking tips to help you make the perfect Thanksgiving meal the first time.
Low-Carb Sheet Pan Meal
There are four main ingredients in this simple family dinner. You have the turkey, turnips, carrots, and Brussels sprouts.
I actually seasoned each ingredient differently. This meant that I was able to pay close attention to the unique flavor profiles of each ingredient and enhance them in the best way.
I seasoned the turnips with fresh rosemary and garlic. The carrots are glazed in sugar-free honey.
The Brussels sprouts are coated in the same rosemary and garlic as the turnips. Out of all of them, I think the turnips would taste the best with some hot sauce.
Turkey Breast Sheet Pan
I found the best way to season a turkey breast and roast it. Combine butter, garlic, sage, thyme, and rosemary.
I used dried thyme and fresh rosemary. But if you want the flavors to really stand out, use fresh thyme too.
The reason the turkey breast was able to cook so quickly was because I used fully cooked turkey breast. Since it’s already fully cooked, you just have to heat it up!
I also love that the turkey breast is already pre-sliced. This is honestly one of the easiest ways to cook Thanksgiving dinner for your family.
What To Eat With Turkey
Each serving has 9 grams of net carbs, so you should eat this meal without any sides. But if you have family members who aren’t on the keto diet, make them some of my favorite Thanksgiving side dishes.
Start out with some Keto Cornbread Dressing. Kids love the Keto Mini Pumpkin Cheese Ball recipe.
My Keto Garlic Cauliflower Mash Recipe is another popular Thanksgiving side.
For dessert, you can’t beat my No Bake Keto Pecan Pie Bars Dessert Recipe. It doesn’t taste keto!
How To Store Leftover Turkey
If you do have leftovers, place them in an airtight food storage container and keep them in the refrigerator for up to three days. For the juiciest turkey, cover the turkey breasts with gravy when you store them.
The best way to use leftover turkey is to make keto turkey pot pie. Smothered turkey breast with steamed veggies and a flaky crust, it’s delicious!
You can also use it on top of your favorite chopped salad. Save the turkey breast and use it instead of chicken in cream of chicken soup.
It will taste just as delicious.
