These mini keto cheese balls are the perfect game-day appetizer or a high-protein snack when you are craving something salty. The bacon and pecans add a wonderful crunch!
I love finger foods that perfectly portioned out. It’s so much easier to watch how much I eat when I don’t have to measure or anything – and these little cheese balls are just that! Eating just a few cheese balls will fill you up until your next meal.
Keto Cheddar Cheese Bacon Balls
I don’t know about you, but when I’m craving a snack, I’m much more likely to eat something that is easy to grab. Sometimes, I don’t have time to prepare something just because I’m a little hungry.
These cheese balls are easy to make and store in your fridge. The bacon, cheese, and nuts are all sources of fats and protein that your body needs in order to stay in fat-burning mode! Plus, it just has the best taste and texture.
Bacon & Pecan Cheese
If you are a cheese-fan, then you are really going to love this recipe! It’s crunchy, creamy, salty, and incredibly savory. This is the perfect appetizer to serve at special occasions like Valentine’s Day, as game-day food, or at parties. Stick a few toothpicks into them and they are the perfect appetizer!
Low Carb Cheese Bites
These cheese bites are very mild, so they are going to be enjoyed by just about everyone that tries them. If you want them to have a bit more spice, add some diced jalapenos.
If you don’t like pecans (or are allergic) you can leave them out. The cheese bites will taste just as nutty and enjoyable with other nuts too. Replace the pecans with diced cashews or sliced almonds.
In order to use these cheese bites as part of your meal prep, I suggest wrapping each one up individually in plastic wrap. this way, they maintain their texture and don’t fall apart if they rub against other cheese balls in the refrigerator.
After you wrap them in plastic wrap, store them in an airtight container and keep them in your refrigerator.
They will last up to one week in the refrigerator.
Cream Cheese Keto Appetizers
One of my favorite ways to eat these cheese bites is with a salad. Add a chopped salad and then munch on some bacon-covered cheese balls! It’s one of the best snacks or lunches, you should give it a try!
The best thing about cream cheese is the creamy texture. This is such a fun thing to eat! You will first bite into the crunchy pecans and then slowly begin to chew the cream cheese. It’s all flavored with parsley and garlic, so it has a mild flavor that you can enhance with more garlic or leave it as it is.
