We started to see a little bit of change in the weather down here in Florida! The days are still pretty hot, but they’re not as humid. The nights have a slight chill in the air and when you’re used to being in the heat, that slight dip in the temperature feels a lot colder than what it obviously is. Just last night I went out on my porch (this is the only time of the year where I even do that – I hate the heat) and I ran back in and got a sweater! That sounds like a complaint but I actually LOVE the cold and look forward to layering, wearing booties, and best of all, dressing the girls up for fall! Since Florida never feels the full effect of the changing seasons, I jump at any chance to be able to have the girls wear anything cozy and warm without being too bulky or hot, so often times they’re wearing a light t-shirt or a dress with a cardigan or jacket. The one thing I always get sort of stuck on is with shoes. They’re at an age where comfort is still of the utmost importance but they pull off every pair of shoes I buy and I end scrambling to ge them back on.
