This low-carb dinner only takes 30 minutes to cook in the oven. These sausage broccoli foil packets are full of flavor and keto-friendly.
Broccoli Foil Packets
Broccoli is one of my favorite low-carb vegetables. It’s super versatile, there are tons of ways you can cook it, and each time it tastes completely different.
In fact, I like to use it on keto chicken and veggie kabobs or just roast it by itself in the oven.
Oven Foil Pack Recipes
There are lots of foil pack dinner options. I love cooking in foil packets because it makes clean-up a breeze.
All you need is some foil, a baking sheet, some meat, and veggies. Then, you just create your own seasoning and bake it. It really is that simple. For my seasoning, I used a combination of garlic, onion, and parsley. I love that flavor combination and so do my kids.
Easy Summer Keto Dinners
Customize this dinner so that it is perfect for you or your family. Instead of broccoli, use cauliflower. You can also use chicken sausage instead of pork.
You can also change things up by adding your favorite cheese on top. For some heat, use pepper jack or some red pepper flakes. If you want a milder taste, sprinkle some Mexican cheese blend on top.
How to Grill Foil Packets
Since these foil packets are great on the grill, they make an easy camping meal too. Cook them for the same amount of time on the grill. Keep grilling them until the sausage is completely cooked.
They are the perfect camping meal because you can eat right out of the foil packets. You don’t need to pack (or clean) extra dishes.
Low-Carb Sausage Dinner
There are lots of ways that you can turn this into a full meal. Serve the sausage and broccoli with keto bacon-wrapped shrimp. I love the combination of shrimp and sausage. On the side, serve some low-carb cheesy asparagus and some low-carb mushroom and spinach cauliflower rice.
I always find an excuse to serve my cheesy keto garlic bread – and it tastes amazing with this sausage and broccoli recipe.
For an easy dessert, make some keto peanut butter mousse. It is an excellent source of protein and healthy fats – plus it tastes heavenly!
Foil Packets In The Oven
Foil packets are fantastic in the oven. Just place each foil packet on the baking sheet, close the packets, and then bake them.
If you want to make clean-up even quicker, eat right from the foil packets! You could have a backyard picnic. You can’t really beat no dishes!
