Chips are one of my favorite snacks – they are just so satisfying! I love the crunch, the saltiness, and the flavor. These pickle chips are made from real pickles right in your air fryer. 

Air Fryer Dill Pickle Chips

You are going to love these chips! Even better than the taste is how easy they are to make. Since you are using pre-sliced pickles, the only food prep you have to do is add the breading and then cook them in the air fryer. 

Air Fryer Pickle Chips

This is something that you can do in 10 minutes or less. 

Plus, they are really budget-friendly too. All you need is some pickles, pork rinds, heavy cream, and spices. 

Healthy Low Carb Chips 

These chips are made from pickles, so they are a lot healthier than potato chips. The heavy cream that you use for the breading is an excellent source of calcium and protein too.

They are so much better for you than other types of chips. Pickles naturally have a lot more fiber in them than potato chips too.

Do you like foods with a lot of kick and heat? Then use more cayenne pepper in them. Control how hot and spicy you make them. You could even add a splash of hot sauce to the batter too. This will really increase how spicy they are.

Store the pickle chips in an airtight bag or container and just keep them in your pantry or on your counter. They don’t need to be refrigerated. They will stay fresh for up to a week.

There are lots of ways that you can eat them. I like to munch on them right out of the bag, but you could also serve them with some l0w-carb ranch dipping sauce, hot sauce, or even Russian dressing.

Yes, pickles are amazing for keto dieters. They are basically cucumbers that are pickled. Stay away from bread and butter or sweet pickles since those have added sugar.

Ingredients:

Dill pickle chips
Eggs
Heavy whipping cream
Pork rinds
Garlic powder
Cayenne pepper

Instructions:

1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. 


2. Place the egg and heavy whipping cream into a bowl and beat well. 


3. Add the pork rind crumbs, garlic powder and cayenne pepper to a shallow bowl or plate, and stir to combine. 


4. Dip the pickle chips first into the egg mixture, and then coat in the crumb mixture. 


5. Place the coated pickle chips into the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes or until crispy and browned.

  • 1 cup Dill Pickle Chips
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Pork Rinds crushed
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • Place the egg and heavy whipping cream into a bowl and beat well.
  • Add the pork rind crumbs, garlic powder and cayenne pepper to a shallow bowl or plate, and stir to combine.
  • Dip the pickle chips first into the egg mixture, and then coat in the crumb mixture.
  • Place the coated pickle chips into the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes or until crispy and browned.
