This year marked my 14th year living in Florida! While I still miss being up north, there’s lot of reasons to love living in the sunny state. Not everyone is being able to see the sunset on the gulf everyday at beach. Another one of the many great perks of living here is that there’s a lot of seasonal Fresh From Florida produce. Being from NY, access to the freshness that Florida at grocery stores like Publix is not something that I take for granted. I frequently refill my fridge with fresh produce to have handy for cooking and my lunchtime salads.

Right now, there’s plenty of Fresh From Florida produce that’s in season for just about all your cooking needs. Some of my favorites are strawberries (for snacking or baking), bell peppers or mushrooms. I like to add them into recipes like this cajun pasta and spicy Thai noodles both made with fresh from Florida mushrooms and spinach, that we made last month.
Not only is Fresh From Florida produce easily accessible, but because Florida farmers are always hard at work, it means we get to eat fresh all year round! For all the fresh yumminess, simply look for logo on your produce, at your local grocery store, or farmers stand.
