Lots of time in bed means lots of time to get organized and fret over all the little details especially when you’re getting ready for something huge as a baby. I didn’t really buy anything for the arrival yet but I did have some family and friends buy lots of necessities. I still have TONS to buy and I’m going to try and buy a lot online and leave the rest for the last minute. Below are some cute items that I have bought and some that I plan on buying.
Florida weather can be really weird during winter. One day it’s 75 the next it’s 50 so I need to have a light sweater handy for the chilly days. I bought this reversible one from Target for only $6!
Just for you baby boy cardigan – $6.78 at Target
The other cardigan I’m eyeing is from American apparel in brown. Slightly more expensive but at $15 it’s still extremely affordable.
American Apparel Rib Cardigan – $16.50
I’m a onesies addict and I love to have a dozen different ones for the baby to wear. These wrap style ones by Gerber were only $9.99 also at Target. SO cute! Beneath the ones I got are the ones I ordered at Old Navy in the black pack and grey pack. I love the idea of a black onesie on a baby.
Gerber 3 pack onesies – $9.99 at Target
For the first few weeks at home I plan on putting the baby to sleep in gowns. They make night time diaper changes so much easier. This two pack was $10.99 and they have the foldable sleeves making it even more convenient because I hate those pesky little gloves that fall off.
Gerber 2 pack gowns – $10.99 also at Target
Cute baby outfits are a must but I’ve always felt that the first 2 months are all about comfort and convenience. So I bought him a few cotton footed sleepers to keep him comfy and cute. After the first few months it’s on and I plan on buying tons of cute outfits like the ones below from H&M.
Just For You by Carter’s 2 pack sleepers – $7.64 from Target
Shirt & Pants Set – $17.50 at HM.com
Next I’ll be posting some of must have necessities. 🙂
