Make a high-fat and low-carb cup of delicious keto iced coffee. This iced bullet proof coffee recipe is perfect on hot days.
Bullet Proof Iced Coffee
I’m a huge fan of bulletproof coffee. It’s basically a way to add healthy fat to your coffee. When you add butter or another type of healthy fat, it makes the coffee really creamy and helps you feel full longer.
Some people like to drink bulletproof coffee with their breakfast because they don’t really like to eat a big breakfast. This fills you up and keeps you feeling full till lunch.
This bulletproof iced coffee is incredibly refreshing and gives you the caffeine boost you crave.
Keto Iced Coffee
Whether you prefer iced coffee when it is hot outside, or you like to drink iced coffee all year long, this recipe is perfect for you! The best part about this iced coffee is that you don’t taste the melted butter.
It’s covered up by the heavy cream, cinnamon, and monk fruit sweetener.I added a scoop of collagen.
This makes the coffee thicker and is fantastic for your hair and nails. It’s like adding a multivitamin to your iced coffee!
Enjoy this keto iced coffee with some low-carb lemon sandwich cookies. The flavors go so well together. Or sip on your coffee with a few keto strawberry lemon blondies. They are one of my favorite summertime desserts.
Homemade Iced Coffee
If you want to prevent the iced coffee from watering down from the ice as it melts, I suggest brewing some coffee and pouring it into an ice cube tray. Then, add your coffee ice cubes to your iced coffee.
You should also know that this coffee likes to separate sometimes. To make it easier to stir, I drink my iced coffee out of my favorite tumbler with a lid.
Then, I just use a metal or plastic reusable straw to stir it (or close the lid and shake it if your cup is spill-proof).
Make any changes you want to this recipe! Use flavored coffee, pumpkin pie spice, or MCT oil. You can even add a splash of peppermint extract if you want it to taste minty!
How Long Does Iced Coffee Last In The Fridge
Only store your cold brew coffee in the fridge without any additives – just the coffee, not the cream or sweetener. If you store the coffee alone, it will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
As soon as you add the bulletproof ingredients, I suggest drinking it within a day.
Keto Flavored Syrups For Coffee
For this iced coffee recipe, I made my own syrup out of cinnamon and monk fruit sweetener. It’s pretty basic, but it works really well!
There are a lot of different ways you can make flavored ice coffee drinks, just replace the cinnamon and sweetener with your favorite sugar-free syrup. Use sugar-free caramel syrup, keto peppermint syrup, or sugar-free chocolate syrup.
The options are endless!
