Spice up your Halloween party! This keto Jack O Lantern buffalo chicken dip is super cheesy and tasty enough for non-keto people too.
Buffalo Chicken Dip
My original keto buffalo chicken dip is one of my most popular dip recipes of all time. It’s so popular because the flavor is so bold but it only has four simple ingredients.
This time, I improved it a little bit. Instead of blue cheese dressing, I combined cream cheese, sour cream, and garlic powder.
This updated buffalo chicken dip still has buffalo wing sauce, but it’s thicker and creamier. I still kept it low-carb. No worries about that!
There are only 4 grams net carbs in each serving, and this cheesy dip makes six servings.
Jack O Lantern Buffalo Chicken Dip
What really makes this dip so much fun is the Jack O Lantern Face on top. I made it by cutting the pieces out of zero carb tortillas.
Adjust the size of the pieces according the pan size. You might have to cut pieces out of a large tortilla.
There are other options besides tortillas to create the face. Cut the face pieces out of white American cheese or make some keto cloud bread and cut the pieces out of it.
If you’re running low on time, skip the face part. It is totally optional!
Keto Buffalo Chicken Dip
How spicy is keto buffalo chicken dip? It’s just hot enough to wake up your taste buds but not too hot to overwhelm or scare off kiddos.
I’d call this a medium spice level. Control the spice levels to your liking.
If you need to make it taste milder, then use less buffalo sauce. But if you want to make the Buffalo dip really hot, then either add some hot sauce or sprinkle red pepper flakes into the dip.
You can even top it with some jalapeno peppers for more color and a fun garnish.
Keto Dippers
Honestly, the best keto dippers for buffalo chicken dip are homemade keto tortilla chips. Cut up a zero carb tortilla into triangles and then put the triangles on a baking sheet and bake them until they are crispy.
They are crispy and taste perfect with the dip.
Want more ideas? Homemade keto cheese crackers are a perfect choice or use some low-carb pizza crisps.
Bell pepper slices, carrot sticks, and pork rinds are all great choices, too. Or grab some low-carb crackers from the store.
How To Make Dip Ahead Of Time
Store leftover Buffalo chicken dip in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator. For the best results, eat it within three days.
As it sits in the fridge, the dip will become really thick. All you have to do is warm it up in the microwave or on the stove and it will go back to it’s deliciously smooth texture you love.
