Jalapeno Deviled Eggs
How much spice can you handle? The beautiful thing about these deviled eggs is that you can make them as hot or as mild as you want.
The secret to the spice isn’t just the chopped jalapenos. I also added pickled jalapeno juice to the egg yolk mixture, too.
This means that every bite is bursting with flavor.
You can always count on deviled eggs to be a crowd-pleasing appetizer, and these will never let you down. Everyone will gobble them up and since deviled eggs are naturally low in carbs, these are an appetizer you can eat guilt-free, too.
Keto Jalapeno Deviled Eggs
This is such an easy recipe to make, that you can prepare them right before your party or dinner. They are ready in less than 30 minutes!
Save the garnishes for the end and store the prepped deviled eggs in the refrigerator.
One of the best ways to make deviled eggs is to use a piping bag. You could also use two spoons to scoop the deviled egg filling into the hard boiled egg whites but I prefer to use the piping bag because it looks fancier and it’s so much cleaner, too.
Keto Spicy Deviled Eggs
Make the deviled eggs as spicy or as mild as you want! To make them spicier, add more jalapeno juice, and a few more diced jalapenos or drizzle them with some hot sauce.
You could even top them with some sliced habanero peppers.
There are a few other options, too. Use spicy mayo and some spicy brown mustard and drizzle them with Sriracha for more heat!
What about making them milder? Just leave out the sliced jalapenos and they won’t have as much spice.
What To Eat With Deviled Eggs
Enjoy these spicy jalapeno deviled eggs with your favorite appetizers, snacks, or salad recipes. Low-carb pea salad is creamy and zesty and tastes great with the jalapeno eggs.
You could also make some keto crunchwraps for lunch and have the deviled eggs on the side. If you’re going to serve them at a party, then add some low-carb antipasto bites to the snack table.
They also taste perfect with some tomato basil cream cheese pinwheels. Then, for dessert, make keto eggnog custard. It’s the perfect party food.
How To Store Deviled Eggs
You can save yourself a lot of time by hard boiling all of your eggs ahead of time. Store hardboiled eggs in an airtight food storage container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
These jalapeno deviled eggs don’t last very long in the refrigerator. I suggest you eat them up and only keep them for a max of one day.
When you store leftover eggs, keep them in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
