If you’re a fan of eggnog, and you look forward to the winter holidays because that means you get to enjoy as much as you want, then this creamy dessert is perfect for you! I took my favorite Easy Low Carb Eggnog Recipe and turned it into a rich and velvety-smooth dessert that everyone will beg for.

And with just 4 grams net carbs in each serving, you’ll be more than happy to let everyone eat them. It’s a guilt-free dessert that no one can tell is low-carb.

Have you heard of custard before? What even is a custard? Well, custard is a light and creamy dessert that resembles the texture of pudding (but it isn’t pudding, trust me!).

Keto Eggnog Custard

Most types of custard have some sort of sweetened milk that is cooked with egg to thicken it.

Some people use custard to fill eclairs.  Have you heard of frozen custard? It’s not ice cream. Frozen custard is made with eggs. Ice cream is made with sweetened milk or cream. 

The last time I made custard, it was to make a Low Carb Pumpkin Pecan Custard. So if you love how this eggnog custard tuns out, make the pumpkin pecan version next!

This rich dessert has only five simple ingredients: eggs, eggnog, Swerve confectioner’s sugar substitute, and spices.

I used only two spices, cinnamon, and nutmeg because eggnog has enough flavor and spices to stand out. 

I also love that this recipe is baked in ramekins. This means that this is the perfect dessert to make for guests.

It’s also an easy way to control how much you eat at one time. There are 4 grams net carbs in each ramekin. 

What To Eat With Custard 

The eggnog custard will become one of your favorite low-carb Christmas desserts! If you’re serving it at a party, make some Keto Peppermint Cheesecake Chocolate Cups to go with it.

Just like the custard, the cups are single-serving sizes.

How To Store Custard 

Store leftover custard in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Do you want to make frozen custard? All you have to do is store it in a freezer-safe container.

I like to store the custard in a loaf pan because it’s easier to scoop out with an ice cream scoop. Cover it tightly with aluminum foil.

It will stay fresh in the freezer for up to 6 months.

Keto Eggnog Custard

Ingredients

  • Eggs
  • Keto Eggnog
  • Swerve Confectioner’s Sugar Substitute 
  • Cinnamon 
  • Nutmeg

Directions 

Keto Eggnog Custard

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl until well combined.

Pour the mixture evenly into two well greased ramekins. Place the ramekins in a 9×13 baking dish, and fill the baking dish with water until it reaches about halfway up the sides of the ramekins.

Bake for 40-45 minutes until the center of the custard is set. Drizzle with some sugar free caramel sauce before serving if desired.

  • 2 cups Prepared Keto Eggnog
  • 1/4 cup Swerve Confectioner's Sugar Substitute
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Whisk together all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture evenly into two well greased ramekins.
