As of today, I am 31 weeks and only have about 7-8 weeks to go. My doctor and I made the decision that another c-section would be best and we’ll be scheduling it for about the first week of April. It’s gone by SO fast! The next coming weeks will be filled with hopefully a lot of shopping and maintaining a tight schedule with Olivia and Joseph, so that when the new baby arrives we can continue it smoothly. I like to focus on making reading time fun & part of our daily routine. It’s one of our favorite ways to unwind, and is a big part of our afternoon and evening routine. During the afternoon we combine snack times with reading and gather up a few books while Joseph has his new TEDDY SOFT BAKED Filled Snacks, Olivia her bottle, and we lay out and read books together. Sometimes even my older boys will walk by and grab a snack and sit for a few minutes.

It’s snacks like these that are made with quality ingredients such as milk, eggs, and chocolate (we love our chocolate) that make this busy mama happy! TEDDY SOFT BAKED Filled Snacks (Located in Walmart’s cookie/cracker aisle and have no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, or artificial colors) loveable bear-shape give these snacks a special homemade look (and delicious taste in two different flavors Chocolate and Vanilla) without the hassle. I believe in developing routines that are fun, and also something the kids look forward to. Reading for us has always been our way of unwinding and snacks only make it that time more enjoyable!

Having a large family and being a working mom is a lot of work. It doesn’t leave a lot of time for things like baking or even cooking meals from scratch, but making the time we do have together is special and that’s what counts, I can’t wait to add another little girl to our reading/snack time in just a few more weeks!

  1. No matter how busy we all are, we need to remember that family time is more important. This is a great reminder as to what is important.

  2. Those look so flippin good! My kids like the original teddy grahams but they get bored with the same old snacks. I’m glad to see they did something new and yummy-looking.

  3. Reading has always been part of our routine in our family. Our girls fell in-love with reading at a very young age. I think I read to them the day we came home from the hospital, and pretty much never stopped.

  4. First, congratulations! You’re getting so close :). I remember when we were waiting for my oldest stepdaughter’s baby to come. Ahhh it felt like forever and now baby girl is 7 months old! Enjoy these last few weeks. Now, those Teddy Soft Bakes, uhhh yum! I had no idea they were such a good size. I thought they were little. LOL forget the kid, I may have to try these for myself HA!

  5. These snacks look easy to take on the go. I have children who really like teddy grahams but we haven’t seen these baked snacks yet. We use Ibotta to save money too!!
