When you have a lot of kids like I do you have to plan ahead. This 4th of July we’re planning on heading over to Clearwater Beach to watch the fireworks. Afterwards we plan on popping a tent and having a camp out in our living room. With Joseph being only one I figured this would be a great way to get everyone to have some fun together in the comfort of our home. The plan is to move all the game systems to the living room, watch movies and make S’mores! You don’t always need a campfire to make S’mores so I plan on making my S’mores right in my oven.
I decided to test it out ahead of time and make the S’mores now to see how they’d turn out and I have to admit it was a lot easier than I thought it would be and everybody loved them! This recipe was SO easy to make and the S’mores were just as yummy and gooey as the traditional camp fire S’mores. For a festive touch I topped them with blueberries, strawberries and confection sugar.
Ingredients:

Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars (sold in a 6 pack at Walmart)
Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares **exclusively at Walmart
Kraft Jet Puffed Marshmallows
1 cup of chopped Strawberries
1 cup Blueberries
Confection sugar
Preparation:
***I used an iron skillet but if you use a pan make sure you line it before laying out the graham crackers.
Arrange Honey Maid Graham Squares in pan. **Gently break off corners so they fit the around pan.

Place a Jet Puffed Marshmallow on each square.

Place in oven on the highest rack with the broiler set on low. **Marshmallows toast quick stay near the stove other wise you risk burning them.
In under 3 minutes the marshmallows are toasted and ready for the chocolate.

Place as many Hershey chocolate squares as you’d like on top of the marshmallows, gently press down and allow it to melt.

Now top your S’mores with Honey Maid Squares. I wanted to give my S’mores a red, white and blue festive touch so I topped off the S’mores with blueberries, strawberries and then sprinkled confection sugar and Honey Maid Graham Cracker Square crumbs on top.

I found everything I needed at my local Walmart, look for their complete S’mores display or on end caps. **Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares are exclusive to Walmart

With this S’mores recipe any day can be a s’mores day indoors as well as outdoors.

I never would have thought about making S’Mores in the oven but those turned out beautifully! Summers are much to hot for indoor cooking in LA but I bet these would be fun on the barbecue 🙂
I love making s’mores indoors! I also love that you added berries to the top to make it fresher and healthier. Can’t wait to try it this way.
I am loving that these are able to be made inside! I would love to recreate these at home.
Those marshmallows toasted perfectly! I have been looking for the actual smores marshmallows and cannot find them anywhere. This looks yummy and I loved the fruit addition
I think those are the prettiest smores I’ve ever seen! I’m not a huge fan of smores, but this post made my mouth water for one!
This is such a great idea. I love smores, but we dont always have a fire to do them over!
These looks delish and we do them, too, but we use the microwave. The grill would be so great.
These look so much easier than starting the grill and much less chance of the marshmallows catching on fire!
I died a little when I saw the berries on top! How have I never thought to do that before!!
I am addicted to s’mores! Making them inside is a great back-up plan! Next time, try them with a York Peppermint!
That sounds amazing!!
I love S’mores everything. And I love the idea of berries on top! I’ve never had them that way.
