Skip the meat and make some low-carb tomato basil roll-ups. These crispy cream cheese roll-ups are a filling and tasty lunch!

Tomato Basil Roll Ups
Are you looking for an easy keto-friendly lunch that isn’t a salad? Or maybe you want to find a low-carb Italian recipe that you can make in 15 minutes or less.

No matter what your reason is, I have the perfect recipe for you. These tomato basil roll-ups are as easy to whip up as a chopped salad.
With sundried tomatoes, cream cheese, and fresh basil, they taste like a fancy appetizer.
And since you’ll make them in your air fryer, they come out perfectly crispy without you having to baby them on the stove (or wait for the oven to heat up).
Low-Carb Cream Cheese Roll-Ups
There are so many things to love about these low-carb cream cheese roll-ups. Let’s start with the carbs.

There are only 2 grams net carbs in each one! That means you can eat them up without worrying too much about the macros.
You might also like that there are only five simple ingredients. This leaves you plenty of room for customizing them.
But I love how quickly they come together. I suggest chilling the roll-ups in the fridge for about 30 minutes before you fry them.
This step is optional, but it makes a huge difference. If you let them chill for half and hour (or overnight), they will stay together better and fry up perfectly.
Keto Italian Roll-Ups
What makes these roll-ups Italian? The fresh basil and sundried tomatoes remind me of some of my favorite Italian recipes. I love how simple these roll-ups are!

I used garlic powder, but you could saute some fresh garlic and mix that into the cream cheese.
Or add some dried red pepper flakes to the cream cheese. If that makes it too spicy, then use some pepperjack cheese with the cream cheese
What are some other things you can change about the recipe? Well, if you love balsamic vinegar as much as I do, dip the roll-ups in some balsamic vinegar.
This adds a delicious zing (without adding any carbs). You could even use sun-dried tomato tortillas. Mission brand makes that flavor in zero carb options. They are delicious!
Meatless Roll-Ups
I have plenty of high-protein, meat-filled recipes on my blog. Use the search bar and type in your favorite type of meat and you’ll find a bunch of different recipes for them.

This time, I chose to make a filling recipe without any meat at all. But the cream cheese still has plenty of protein in it.
Are you looking for different ways to add meat to the roll-ups? I have a few ideas.
Add some cooked shrimp to the cream cheese. Some shredded chicken will also taste delicious with the cream cheese and sun dried tomatoes.
What To Eat With Roll-Ups
This is the perfect thing to eat for lunch. Mix it up and then cook it in the air fryer. They are ready in 15 minutes – so fast, and so tasty!

If you want something with some meat, then make my Low Carb Air Fryer Chicken Sausage and Peppers. You can even make them ahead of time.
The roll-ups will also taste delicious with some Keto Spinach Feta Quiche. And if you love eggs, then I suggest making a Keto Hard Boiled Egg Au Gratin.
But if you want something quicker and more like a snack, then make my Keto Dorito Dip With Cottage Cheese. For dessert, my Keto Carrot Cake Roll-Ups are perfect!
