Skip the bread and enjoy the flavors of your favorite sandwich! Keto Philly cheesesteak bowls are high in protein, and vitamins too!

Keto Protein Philly Cheesesteak Bowls

Philly Cheesesteak Bowls

Do you need a high-protein meal that will fill you up? Then make a Philly cheesesteak bowl! Tender, thinly sliced ribeye steak is served with sliced peppers, onion, and mushrooms.

Keto Protein Philly Cheesesteak Bowls

There are two types of cheese in it – cream cheese and mozzarella cheese. This tastes just like a classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich, just without the bun.

One of the best things about this bowl recipe is the combination of spices used to flavor the meat. This is what makes it taste like the classic sandwich. Worcestershire sauce, garlic and salt and pepper.

It seems simple, but it doesn’t take much. If you want to make it taste a bit spicier, add some red pepper flakes.

Keto Philly Cheesesteak Bowls

I’ve made a lot of recipes that were inspired by Philly cheesesteaks (and I shared my favorite ones at the bottom of this post).

Keto Protein Philly Cheesesteak Bowls But when it comes to something super easy, you can’t get better than a protein bowl.

Bowls are some of the easiest types of recipes to make. They are easier than casseroles or skillet recipes.

All you have to do is cook the ingredients and then serve them a bowl. I’ve made a keto shrimp egg roll in a bowl and even keto supreme pizza bowls.

The idea is pretty simple – you deconstruct your favorite recipe and serve it in a bowl!

Philly Cheesesteak Protein Bowl

Ribeye steak is a fantastic source of protein. It’s high in iron and has a flavor that I find myself craving.

But I added even more protein to this bowl by adding some cream cheese to it. If you need to, ricotta can be used as a quick swap for the cream chees.

There are 6 grams net carbs in each serving and this recipe makes four servings.

It’s the perfect dinner to serve for your family. If they aren’t on the keto diet, add theirs to a hoagie roll. Since it tastes amazing as a protein bowl, you won’t even miss the bread!

What To Eat With Philly Cheesesteak

Since there are 6 grams net carbs in each serving, be careful with what you eat on the side. I suggest eating something really low in carbs on the side, like creamy shrimp and cucumber salad.

Or serve a keto-friendly soup like keto turmeric zucchini soup.

Bread isn’t off-limits, you just have to make it yourself in order to make it really low in carbs.

My keto oopsie bread recipe is perfect with this protein bowl. There are 2 grams net carbs in each piece.

How To Store Cooked Steak

One of the best ways to make these protein bowls is to make the ribeye steak ahead of time. Store cooked steak in an airtight container or a food storage bag. Keep it in the refrigerator for up to three days.

You can add Philly cheesesteak protein bowls to your weekly meal prep, too.

Keep the protein bowls in an airtight container and eat them within three days for the best flavor.
