Buttery and herbaceous – just like the Olive Garden ones – these keto breadsticks are the perfect side dish for any meal.
Keto Olive Garden Recipe
After I made my keto copycat Olive Garden salad, I knew I had to make some copycat breadsticks to go with it! And these breadsticks are a nearly-perfect copy, all without going over on carbs!
Whether you enjoy munching on breadsticks by themselves, dipping them in cheese sauce, or eating them with your favorite soup, you’ll love this easy gluten-free breadsticks recipe. They bake in just 15 minutes and are topped with butter, garlic powder, and salt.
They are the best breadsticks you’ll eat.
Keto Breadsticks
How do you make breadsticks without wheat flour? The best way to make keto breadsticks is to use fathead dough.
What is fathead dough? It’s a delicious combination of mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, almond flour, and baking ingredients (like eggs and baking powder).
In order to make the breadsticks taste like Olive Garden’s famous ones, I flavored the dough with onion powder and garlic powder. As you bite into them, you’ll feel like you’re at the popular Italian restaurant! They are that good.
Keto Italian Recipes
These breadsticks taste incredible with all of your favorite Italian recipes. In fact, I love it on the side with my Keto Italian Chicken Skillet. It has a lot of similar flavors and spices.
You can also munch on the breadsticks with a light (and comforting) bowl of Keto Italian Wedding Soup.
If you like creamier dishes for dunking breadsticks, make some Low-Carb Shepherds Pie Soup or Keto Tuscan Shrimp.
Both recipes are low-carb and incredibly creamy.
How To Store Breadsticks
You can store these breadsticks just like you do with fresh Olive Garden Breadsticks. Keep them in an airtight container or bag and store them at room temperature for up to three days.
They taste best when they are warm, so I suggest heating them up in the microwave or air fryer before you eat them again.
These breadsticks are also freezer-friendly too. To prevent them from freezing into one giant brick, wrap each breadstick in foil or plastic wrap.
Then, place the breadsticks in a freezer bag. They will stay fresh in the freezer for up to six months.
Keto Copycat Recipe
Show off these breadsticks at your next big family meal or dinner party. Or, eat them for lunch! They taste delicious with a Copycat Keto Chick-Fil-A Cobb Salad – which is another one of my favorite copycat recipes.
And if you want another copycat recipe to try, make Keto Copycat Paula Deen’s Amazing Chicken Casserole. It’s so creamy and comforting and filling! It’s a wonderful family dinner.
