Air Fryer Wings
You’ll never go wrong making chicken wings in the air fryer! They are crispy on the outside and extra juicy on the inside.
Every bite bursts with flavor and makes you want to reach for more. Even if you’ve never made homemade wings before, you can make this recipe perfectly the first time.
There are just 3 grams net carbs in each serving, and they are ready in less than an hour.
There are two parts to this easy recipe – the chicken wings and the alfredo sauce. Both parts only have about three or four ingredients in each one. It’s simple and easy to understand – anyone can make fantastic wings!
Keto Chicken Wings Recipe
The secret to crispy air fryer chicken wings is to sprinkle them with baking powder. They will crisp up without you having to deep fry them in oil.
Using the air fryer is incredibly easy, but I have a few tips that will help you make them perfectly the first time.
First, remember to preheat the air fryer. This step will heat up the basket so it keeps the chicken wings crispy.
Next, grease the air fryer basket really well. Otherwise, the chicken wings could stick. Finally, don’t forget to flip them over halfway through cooking. This way, the wings will cook evenly on both sides.
Alfredo Wings
The alfredo sauce is perfect on top of the wings, or even as a separate dipping sauce. There are just a few simple ingredients in it. All you need is some butter, garlic, heavy whipping cream, and parmesan cheese.
Using fresh ingredients will make all the difference. Grate the parmesan cheese at home.
It will have an earthier and nuttier flavor. And use full-fat heavy whipping cream. Half and Half or milk won’t have the same texture or taste.
What To Eat With Chicken Wings
The best thing to serve with chicken wings is more chicken wings! I have a bunch of low-carb recipes for chicken wings that you’ll adore.
Serve them all together at a party or make a chicken wings feast for dinner.
Keto Korean BBQ chicken wings are both spicy and sweet and have a sticky coating. For a classic flavor, make low-carb garlic parmesan chicken wings.
Another popular wings recipe is keto teriyaki wings. And for a kick of spice, make low-carb air fryer Buffalo wings that taste just like the kind from your favorite restaurant.
Or break away from chicken and make some crispy keto cauliflower wings. They are full-flavored and will make you love cauliflower again.
How To Store Chicken Wings
They taste the best when you serve them hot and fresh out of the oven. If you want to use them in your meal prep or make them ahead, store them in an airtight food storage container and refrigerate them for no more than three days.
I suggest baking them to reheat them. They won’t be as crispy if you reheat them in the microwave.
