Canned Chicken Crust Pizza
After I made pepperoni pizza with chicken crust, I knew I wanted to make a few different varieties of pizza next time. That first pepperoni pizza was a huge hit with my family.
I loved how tasty and easy it was to make pizza crust out of canned chicken! It’s a fun way to eat a boost of protein when you really need it (and you aren’t in the mood to eat a piece of chicken or a steak).
When you use canned chicken, you save money and time. You don’t have to touch raw chicken or deal with the time-consuming mess of cooking it.
It’s as easy as opening the can, mixing the ingredients, and pressing it into the shape of a pizza crust.
Keto Chicken Crust Pizza
This time around, I decided to make mini pizzas. Each mini pizza is one serving, and there are 5 grams net carbs in each one.
Remember this just in case you’re tempted to make them twice as big. If you make them larger, they will have more net carbs in each one.
Even though I changed the size, I didn’t change much else about the chicken pizza crust. It’s flavored with the same Italian seasonings, and I used the same basic ingredients – canned chicken, egg, and parmesan cheese.
It’s a really simple recipe that anyone can make!
Keto Caesar Salad Slaw
The best thing about making a homemade pizza is that you can make use your favorite toppings, making it taste exactly how you want it to taste. I made a delicious Caesar salad slaw with a homemade Caesar dressing.
Unlike other types of pizza, I didn’t add a marinara or tomato-based sauce to the crust. I simply put the slaw on top of the chicken crust and the drizzles the dressing on the slaw.
The result is a personal pizza that tastes like your favorite chicken Caesar salad.
What To Eat With Pizza
This pizza will taste delicious with any of your favorite side dishes. Do you like breadsticks? Then either make some keto breadsticks or keto garlic knots.
What about soup? Soup tastes delicious with a Ceasar salad pizza! Either make a bowl of keto slow cooker stuffed pepper soup or some keto Italian wedding soup.
And don’t forget about dessert!
How about a scoop of low-carb cottage cheese ice cream or some keto very berry cheesecake salad? Or serve with both!
How To Store Coleslaw
Store the Ceasar salad slaw in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator. I suggest eating it within three days.
And yes, you can eat it just like it is, without putting it on a chicken pizza crust. You should also keep the chicken crust pizza crust refrigerated too.
Store the leftover pizza crust in an airtight food storage bag or container and eat it within three days. You can eat it cold or heat it back up in the air fryer or oven.
