The unstoppable combination of cheddar and cream cheese make these keto ham and cheese roll ups a lunch you won’t want to skip.
Ham and Cheese Roll Ups
These little roll ups pack a huge flavor punch! The diced ham, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, green onions, and fresh chives fit together in the most perfect way. \
The chives are the secret ingredient. They brighten the cheesy mixture and taste divine with the ham.
I was inspired to make ham and cheese roll ups after making keto jalapeno cream cheese roll ups. But I made a few changes.
I used tortillas instead of cheese wraps and chives in place of jalapenos. The newer ham and cheese roll ups are more popular with kids or anyone that like mild food.
Creamy Roll Ups
The combination of cream cheese and cheddar cheese just goes together perfectly. But have fun experimenting with this recipe.
Browse the specialty cheese section and try it with different types of cheese. For some powerful heat, shred some mango habanero cheese or try it with horseradish cheese.
For the best texture, I suggest using full-fat cream cheese. When you’re on keto, you need to eat more healthy fats to keep your body in fat-burning mode.
Cream cheese is a fantastic source of healthy facts, calcium, and minerals.
Keto Ham Roll Ups
This is a great way to use up leftover keto baked ham or deli ham that you haven’t eaten yet. Just chop up your home into diced pieces and mix it with the rest of the ingredients or save yourself time and buy pre-diced ham, instead.
For the shells, I used street taco sized zero carb tortillas. But if you really love cheese, then make some crispy cheese wraps.
Follow the instructions in my sausage lasagna roll ups recipe.
Keto Lunch Ideas
These crispy roll-ups make the perfect lunch! Serve them with a bowl of keto Olive Garden salad to give yourself some more nutrition.
Or, if you like spicy foods, add some keto sweet and spicy canned chicken salad to the table with the roll-ups. You can also round out the flavors with a bowl of keto broccoli cheese soup.
And then add some keto Olive Garden breadsticks to the table with a glass of sugar-free sweet tea and you’re ready to eat!
How To Store Roll Ups
Since these roll ups are made with keto-friendly tortillas, you can store them in the refrigerator and then reheat them in a skillet or air fryer. If you reheat them in the microwave it will make the tortillas softer.
Store leftover roll ups in an airtight food storage container. Keep them in the refrigerator for up to three days.
