Yes, strawberries are a keto-friendly berry. In fact, they are some of the best types of fruit for keto dieters to eat because they contain so much dietary fiber. 

Diced Strawberries

In one cup of chopped strawberries, there are 3 grams of fiber and 8.7 grams of net carbs. Since 8.7 grams of net carbs are still a lot, you’ll want to use strawberries as an ingredient in keto baking but not sit and eat an entire cup of strawberries by themselves.

If you’ve ever enjoyed a cannoli, then you already have an idea what these roll ups taste like! These strawberry cream cheese roll ups taste like a cheesecake-filled cannoli.

I used keto-friendly tortillas instead of pie crust for the roll ups. Then, I pan-fried them so they have a super-tasty, crispy texture. 

The filling really stands out in this recipe that’s made with a combination of cream cheese and sour cream. The result is light, fluffy, creamy, and slightly tangy, and you won’t be able to stop eating it.

Since they’re made with cream cheese and sour cream, they are high in healthy fats that will make you feel full. In fact, it’s really important to eat enough healthy fats on keto.

If you do, you’ll stay in fat-burning mode and continue to lose weight. So read the labels and only use full-fat cream cheese and sour cream. 

What To Eat With Strawberries 

They are perfect for any party, any time of year. If you’re going to serve them at an Easter dinner, I suggest saving time and making a low-carb sheet pan Easter dinner with ham and asparagus.

And if you’re going to serve them in the summertime, enjoy these roll-ups with a scoop of your favorite sugar-free ice cream. Or pair the sweet strawberry flavors with tart lemon ones and make some keto lemon bars.

Finally, if you’re going to serve the roll-ups for brunch, make some keto lemon ricotta toast to serve with them. 

How To Store Roll Ups 

Since they’re made with cream cheese, you need to store leftover roll-ups in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator for up to three days. Don’t store them longer than that.

Keto Strawberry Cream Cheese Roll Ups Ingredients

Ingredients

  • Zero Carb Street Taco Tortillas 
  • Cream Cheese
  • Sour Cream 
  • Swerve Confectioner’s Sugar Substitute 
  • Vanilla Extract 
  • Strawberries 
  • Oil

Directions 

Cream Cheese

Add the cream cheese, sour cream, ⅓ cup of Swerve and vanilla to a mixing bowl, and blend until smooth and creamy. Fold in the chopped strawberries.

Fill each tortilla with an even amount of the filling, and roll them closed.

Keto Strawberry Cream Cheese Roll Ups

Heat a thin layer of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the rollups seam side down into the heated oil, and brown on all sides until crispy.

Remove, and let cool a bit. Serve dusted with additional powdered Swerve.

  • 6 Zero Carb Street Taco Sized Tortillas
  • 6 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp Sour Cream
  • 1/3 cup Swerve Confectioner's Sugar Substitute plus more for dusting
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries chopped
  • oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Add the cream cheese, sour cream, ⅓ cup of Swerve and vanilla to a mixing bowl, and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  • Fill each tortilla with an even amount of the filling, and roll them closed.
