Serve keto BBQ cheeseburger meatballs for dinner, at a party, or for a tasty lunch. They’re cheesy, topped with bacon, and fun to eat.

Keto BBQ Meatballs
Every single meatballs looks and tastes like a bacon cheeseburger, but without the bun. Add some toothpicks, and it’s ready to be served to your party guests.
And I even included a recipe for my homemade keto-friendly BBQ sauce. You can eat them just like they are or dip them into the BBQ sauce.
This entire recipe makes six servings, with only 5 grams net carbs in each serving. I love to serve it at my parties it take it to parties that I’m invited to. That way, I know there will be delicious food that will keep me in ketosis (and be fun to eat, too).
Cheeseburger Meatballs
One of my favorite things about this recipe is that it’s simple and budget-friendly. I used as many pantry staples as I could and stayed away from exotic or hard-to-find ingredients.

In fact, I think the most expensive ingredient is the ground beef. If you’re trying to stick to a strict food budget, you can replace the ground beef with ground pork.
I also love how simple these little meatballs are. You can make them even more simple or add more toppings. Here are some of my favorite ways to change this recipe. Make it spicier by adding chopped jalapenos on top.
Caramelize some onions and add them to the toppings with the bacon. And the easiest ways to change this recipe is to use a different kind of cheese or a different variety of mustard.
Keto Meatball Appetizer
If you’re a parent on keto, then you know the struggle to plan meals for your kids and yourself. Sometimes, I end up cooking one thing for them and another for me.

But these meatballs look and taste so good that kids will be begging to eat them too! They’re one of my family’s favorite keto recipes.
This is also the perfect thing to make for lunch. Grab a few and eat them with some raw veggies.
If you want a light dinner, then serve them with some cauliflower rice. They’re very filling and don’t take much effort. You could even make them ahead of time and then heat them back up for a quick dinner.
BBQ Cheeseburger Meatballs
What is the best way to store the meatballs as leftovers or to add them to your weekly meal prep? I suggest storing the meatballs without any toppings. Keep the meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

They will stay fresh for up to five days. The best way to reheat them is in the air fryer or microwave.
You can freeze the meatballs, too. First, freeze them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Once all of the meatballs are completely frozen, place them in a freezer-safe food storage bag and keep them in the freezer for up to six months.
Kid-Friendly Keto Recipe
If you’re going to serve these fun meatballs to your kids, then make some more kid-friendly recipes to go with them.

One of the most natural things to make with BBQ cheeseburgers is some onion rings, and I have some keto-friendly onion rings everyone loves.
I have a bunch of other recipes that will taste delicious with them, too. My Keto Cream Cheese Bagel Bites are crispy and cheesy. And my Keto Cheesy Beef Roll Ups also taste like a cheeseburger. Kids love dipping chips into my Keto Sausage and Chorizo Dip. And everyone loves Keto Mexican Pinwheels.
