This is it! This is the dip you need when you want a snack for lunch or something special to make for a party.
It’s perfect for movie nights, a topping for keto tacos, or on the side with fajitas. This keto sausage and chorizo dip is made with two types of meat and three types of cheese. So it’s extra delicious!
This hearty recipe makes six servings. Save it and use it for those random times when people show up unexpectedly.
It’s ready in just 20 minutes. You can even make it while you chat with your family and friends!
Keto Chorizo Dip
There are only 4 grams net carbs in each serving. It’s the perfect thing to eat as a snack between meals if you’re really hungry and is so low in carbs that you can munch on it at a party, too.
I also love how easy it is to customize it to suit your tastes. I think the two types of meat complement each other, but you can use just one if you like it better that way.
To give it the perfect texture, you’ll need to add some kind of milk. I used almond milk (and made sure to use unsweetened, plain almond milk).
You could also use cow’s milk or coconut milk instead. If you’re going to use cow’s milk, I suggest using whole milk for the best flavor.
Sausage Queso
Do you love spicy foods and keep trying to make things even spicier? Or maybe you want just a little bit of heat, or prefer none at all.
Well, it’s so easy to control the spice level of this queso. To make it really mild, leave out the green chiles and if you want it to be a bit hotter, then use spicy Italian sausage.
For the really hot version, add some jalapeno or habanero peppers to the skillet and drizzle some hot sauce on top at the very end.
What if you taste it and it’s too hot? How do you cut that down? My secret is to add sour cream. The sour cream will cut that heat in half!
Keto Dippers
The best way to eat this zesty keto sausage and chorizo dip is with your favorite type of keto-friendly dippers. Make homemade keto chili lime tortilla chips are perfect with it! Or for some tangy flavors, make air fryer pickle chips.
If you like really crispy chips, then you’ll love keto everything bagel cheese chips. Or for a larger chip, make keto avocado chips.
Or, do what I did in these pictures. Use some sliced cucumbers and radishes as the dipper too.
How To Store Queso
Can you make this easy keto queso ahead of time? Yes, you sure can!
Store it in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to three days.
The dip might thicken quite a bit. Just reheat it in the oven in a skillet and it will melt into a delicious dip again.
I don’t recommend freezing the dip. It will change the consistency after you thaw it, and it won’t have the same thick and cheesy texture.

Reduce the heat to medium, and stir in the cream cheese until completely melted and combined.
Mix in the garlic, onion powder and green chiles. Pour in the almond milk, and stir to combine well. Sprinkle in the cheese, and stir until completely melted.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
