Instead of decorating an entire cutting board, give everyone their own charcuterie cups! These keto charcuterie jars are perfect for parties or if you just want a snack while watching TV.
Charcuterie Jars
Charcuterie boards are one of the most fun things to serve at a party! In fact, I made a low-carb party platter that every loved to snack on. It seems like almost everyone loves to munch on nuts, dried fruit, cheese, and veggies.
Decorating and arranging a charcuterie board can be pretty time-consuming. If you’re short on time, fill up mini mason jars with your charcuterie ingredients and give them to your guests.
You can serve these in a mason jar, or any individual serving container. Use themed cups, smaller bowls, or even cocktail glasses.
Just match the theme of your party and have fun with it! They are simple, but they are easy to arrange in different ways.
Individual Charcuterie Cups
If you’re hosting a party and know who is coming, then go the extra step and put people’s names on the jars. Or add a ribbon to the jar that matches the colors of the party.
What I love about these individual charcuterie cups is that you don’t have to worry about fitting enough meat or cheese on the board. You can make as many cups as you have guests.
How long should you let the cups set out? Food safety states that you should only let cheese stay at room temperature for a maximum of two hours.
If you think it will be longer than that, move the cups to the refrigerator.
Keto-Friendly Snacks
One of the best things about these cute little snack jars is that you can customize them so easily. Make them dairy-free by replacing the cheese with either goat cheese or cured meat.
Garnish with a different kind of herb. Use different types of cheese. Add some spicy mixed nuts. There are so many options!
They are the perfect things to eat as a snack at home or to serve your guests. They also look fancy enough to serve for the holidays or at events like baby showers or bridal showers. Keep this idea somewhere safe so you don’t forget.
Best Cured Meat Keto
Cured meat is a fantastic snack option on the keto diet. Pepperoni and salami are both wonderful choices. But don’t forget about other things like Prosciutto or smoked salmon, too.
You can also add other things to these jars. Try it with some cooked bacon or even your favorite sugar-free jerky. You can find chicken jerky and even deer jerky for sale.
How To Store Cut Cheese
If you need to save time before the party, I suggest pre-cutting the cheese or even arranging the cheese onto the skewers and keeping them in an airtight food storage bag. They will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Another easy way to save yourself time is to buy a bag of pre-cubed cheese! If you browse the specialty cheese aisle, you might find some different kinds of cheese that will taste incredible in the charcuterie cups.
