Keto Spinach Balls
These are cheesy, crispy, and tasty little appetizers that you could also enjoy as a post-workout snack. They will fuel your body and give it the protein and iron it needs to work at its best.
Whether you need something to serve at a party, you want a quick no-fuss lunch, or you just want a quick snack, these keto spinach balls are perfect every single time.
Spinach Cheese Balls
There are lots of ways that you can mix things up and change how these little snack balls taste. Steam some arugula and mix it in with the spinach – or use it instead of the spinach. Arugula has a stronger taste that completely transforms the flavors of these cheese balls.
You can also add some red pepper flakes to the mixture before you make the balls. This will give them some heat!
Another really easy way to change how they taste is to use flavored pork rinds. Choose any flavor you like – just stay away from any that have sugar in the ingredients (most BBQ flavors add sugar).

Do you have little ones at home? They love rolling the mixture into balls, so invite them to help you. If you don’t (or you just want to whip these up by yourself) I suggest using an ice cream scoop. It will always give you the same exact amount each time and speed up the entire process.
Spinach Balls Appetizer
You can easily make these ahead of time and store them in your refrigerator before the party or as part of your weekly meal prep. I suggest storing them for a maximum of 3 days. If you try to keep them longer than that, the cheese mixture will soften the pork rinds and the texture just won’t be as enjoyable.
Store the spinach balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Spinach Appetizers
I love making appetizers with spinach. It’s one of those “superfoods” that is really good for you. Any time I can sneak it into other types of food, I do. It’s a wonderful source of iron and B vitamins – both of which can help you feel more energetic. It also has lots of vitamin A – which supports your eye and vision health.
One of my favorite spinach appetizers of all is keto spinach artichoke bites. They are easy to serve since they are already portioned out. I also like to serve keto creamed spinach with bacon at parties. It’s a dip that everyone clamors around – it doesn’t last long!
