This keto lobster salad recipe is an easy light keto dinner that will soon become a favorite! Make it with either fresh or canned lobster – it is delicious either way!
Is Lobster Keto
Yes, fresh or canned lobster is definitely keto-friendly. It’s a type of meat that is basically just protein and healthy fats and no net carbs.
What To Make With Lobster
Lobster is one of those types of meat that tastes best tossed in a creamy sauce and served over your favorite type of low-carb noodle. I decided to try it in a cold salad and I was pleasantly surprised! It tastes fantastic!
This salad is a light dinner for two that you can make with either fresh or canned lobster meat. If you want to make this a more filling dinner, serve it with some keto garlic butter steak.
I love how the garlic flavor just soaks into the steak – it tastes even better on the grill.
Keto Seafood Salad
This seafood salad is so low in carbs that it only has 1g net carb in each serving! Talk about a fantastic meal! I like to eat it for lunch by stuffing this salad into an avocado and eating it chilled.
Try replacing the lobster with canned tuna or even fresh crab meat. You’ll love how many options you have.
Cold Lobster Salad
I love that this entire meal can be ready in less than 10 minutes!
The cajun seasoning in this salad is optional, but I think it gives it a fantastic kick! This is the perfect thing to use in your weekly meal prep. Store it in an airtight container – it will stay fresh for up to 3 days.
Easy Light Keto Dinner
When I am not in the mood for something super-filling, I make this seafood salad recipe. When you place the creamy, salty, salad in a piece of large leaf lettuce, it is so much fun to eat!
The crispy lettuce adds a delightful crunch as your teeth sink into the zesty lobster salad. Another favorite seafood recipe of mine is keto shrimp scampi. It has the most amazing creamy garlic sauce!
Healthy Summer Recipes
Since this is made with fresh celery and lettuce, it’s a very light and healthy meal that is packed with fiber. Bulk up your meal with a few other summertime recipes.
If you are grilling outside, make my keto steak and shrimp kabobs or chicken and veggie kabobs. Kids love to eat them right off the skewers.
What To Serve With Lobster Salad
It tastes amazing with my keto garlic knots. It’s already pretty much a complete meal – the garlic knots add a little something extra.
You can also add some additional toppings to your lobster salad. Try it with jalapeno slices, bacon crumbles, or even some diced tomatoes.
Is Canned Lobster Good
Yes, canned lobster has a nice and soft texture. It isn’t too salty and it’s a budget-friendly way to enjoy this recipe.
It doesn’t have the exact same texture as fresh lobster. Try it yourself and see what you think – you might just like it.
